Allison claims to have spoken with some 15 clubs about signing to play the 2004-05 season prior to the lockout. Toronto and Carolina expressed the most interest.

he has also said that he will only play for one of a select few handpicked, and is willing to take a big cut in salary to do so.

Because Pronger and Foote individually would, in all likelihood, command a significantly larger amount of money than Lindros and Allison combined.

i really hope this is true. a 1-2-3 punch of sundin, allison, and stajan would be pretty damn good.

allison would be a great (and fairly cheap) pick-up.

Agreed, I also think Lindros will sign a multi year deal at a very low salary base.
