What teams would Kesler, Edler, Luongo not waive NTC for

No question what 3 NTC players are most rumored to be traded out of Vancouver. But have we asked the question where won't these players go?

With Roberto I don't think he cares where he goes as long as he is going to be the guy. So I would say he would say no to LA, MTL, NYR, pretty much teams that aren't interested anyways so mute points. That being said I think after this weekend he would go to the KHL rather then play for the Canucks. (As long as he can keep his 64 MILL)

Kesler is very different I truly believe he only want's to go to select few teams only contenders. With the exception of the Leafs I don't see Kesler going to a Canadian market sorry Hab fans he won't waive to go to MTL! For US markets only a few he won't go to BUF, NYI, NYR (Vigneault) DAL, CAR, FLA and now my controversial one PIT. Yes I don't think he will want to go to PIT he won't want to be a third line center and no hiding that Crosby and Kesler do not see things eye to eye.

Edler this is a strange one Gillis has said they wont ask a player to waive and Edler doesn't seem like the type of player to ask for a deal. If he gets dealt I would only see him going to a contender anyone have any insight on Edlers situation?

My first post in awhile so take it easy on me, I think the Canucks have done this to themselves and Gillis is one of the worst GMS in history if he can't start to fix this NTC mess he is into!

Kesler - Won't waive for another Canadian team.

Luongo - Won't waive for another backup job/fighting for starter role

Edler - He'll probably waive for any trade.

I'm sure Kesler would waive for Toronto, to play with Kessel.

Nothing wrong with this logic, unfortunately, Toronto's not offering anything that Vancouver would accept.

[QUOTE=Royal Canuck;80867321]Kesler - Won't waive for another Canadian team.

With only 2 years left on his deal and TOR close to contender status (swallows hard) closer then VAN and yes with Kessel being in TOR I could see him go there. He will be able to put up some great numbers be in a media melting pot which he likes and will help add some extra $$$ to his next deal! But your correct under no circumstances would he go to another Canadian team like MTL lots of Hab rumors out there but they should stop!

Seriously doubt that Edler would waive for any trade, I seriously doubt he would waive for a bottom feeder team like Buffalo or Edmonton.

I could see Edler waiving for Winnipeg due to his time with the Moose and his countryman Enstrom being on the team. They'd make one hell of a good D pairing.

I see Winnipeg and Vancouver as great trading partners. Kane for Edler would be a great move for both teams.

Same here, But I seriously doubt that Detroit will get either one. Because I don't see Ken Holland willing to give up the assets to aquire either Kesler or Edler.

Too bad I don't think Kesler would want to come to LI. I'd love him behind Tavares.

Kane has far more value then Edler, Vancouver would have to add.

Love this and VAN would be so happy to get this done the logic makes sense VAN may need to add one of our "top prospects" Horvat, Jenssen, Brendon? Your logic of Edler in WPG has me sold and no secret that Kane won't be staying in WPG past the 16/17 season and he will not go to FA he will be dealt before that!

No chance he'd waive for Edmonton, which is a shame because he's exactly what Edmonton should be pursuing.

Just to give the finger to Gillis, Kesler only waives his NTC for Chicago, San Jose, L.A. and Boston. Kesler isn't moved and the team continues to go sour.

So you do have a magic ball because I am pretty sure you just predicted the future!

As a Jets fan, I entirely agree with you. Obviously it wouldn't be a straight up trade, but Kane is known to be unhappy in Winnipeg, and is also known to have loved playing for the Giants. Add a solid prospect and I can't see why Winnipeg would say no.

Isn't it pretty much standard that Edmonton, Winnipeg and Buffalo are on every NTC list unless the player is from one of those cities?

Add CGY to that as well and then a secondary one with FLA, NYI, CLB, CAR with players going to these markets because of the city not of the team.
