Offseason: Let's talk about movies (and TV shows)

In celebration of me wasting two hours watching Suspect Zero tonight, I started thinking about what would be the worst movie I've ever seen.

I've seen some clunkers in my life but of all the turds that I've seen, nothing I think approaches the suckage that was Eye of the Beholder. It's the only movie I've ever seen where I didn't understand what actually happened. Seriously, I have no idea what that movie was even about...

Suspect zero probably ranks in the bottom five for worst movies ever. In Dreams with Robert Downey Jr. and Annette Benning was awful (only movie I've ever walked out on.) Premonition was absolute trash... I'm sure I could come up with more.

What are some of the worst you've seen?

The Street Fighter movie made me stop half way through, because even Kristin Kreuk couldn't help that pile of turd.

Meet the spartans/Disaster movie.

Also both ranked in the bottom 50 of all time on imdb.

Are we talking about plain bad or just a flop in general?

For plain bad, me and my buddies watched a movie last summer called Sex & Pot and it's hands down the worst movie I've ever seen. HM to Dude where's the party.

For movies that were supposed to be good: Ghost Rider, 3/4 of the movie Adam Sandler has done in the last decade. Didn't like True Grit either.

That's why I don't like Movie Network/Super Écran, so many straight to DVD movies it's not even funny.

Raul Julia's last movie... geez what a horrific way to go.

And I'm pleased to say I never saw it.

I liked In Dreams, the worst I have ever seen was Amazon Woman On the Moon, don't ask, but it was terrible.

I realize that I'm the oddity in this, but I actually walked out of the theatre about 3 quarters of the way through both The Sixth Sense and The Blair Witch Project and have still never seen the ending of wither one of those pieces of trash...my girlfriend at the time was soo mad at me for ditching out on The Sixth Sense that she said to me on the drive home "I'm not even going to bother telling you the ending, because it was amazing!"; I turned to her and said "Bruce Willis was a ghost, I saw that coming 15 minutes into that piece of garbage"...she didn't talk to me the rest of the drive home; it was marvelous...needless to say, we didn't last...

I loved Amazon Women. It was just a bunch of skits. Kind of like RobotChicken and Kentucky Fried Movie. The Stupids was bad but what could I have expected from that title. Open Water was easily the worst movie. I wanted the ****ers to hurry up and die so I could leave.

Well, I'm sure that anyone that watches a few movies per month can find dozens of movies way worst than these two.

i.e: Superbabies: Baby Geniuses 2, The Hottie & the Nottie ( starring Paris Hilton ), Battlefield earth.

I know that but most of these movies had not the same budget of Spider-Man 3.

Okay, it was cheezy, but I saw that movie when I was 12 and alraedy a huge fan of SF. It had its appeal, not even close to the worst movie ever unless you include all of JCVD's career.

We need a criteria to weed out all the mad nominations. Movies like disaster are supposed to be bad, just like a lot of B horror movies are bad but we love to watch them anyway, they are meant to be like that. Same goes for low budget flics, they just can't do any better.

I'd like to see some legitimate fail mentions. I honestly can't think of any off the top of my head right now though. Spiderman 3 is not one for me even as the series hit its lowest point.

Jesus holy hell yes. And coming from hockey fans that is quite the accomplishment, and I like MM too.

Battlefield Earth is one of those weird instances where it's still a highly entertaining movie despite it being terrible. So I'm gonna go for War of the Worlds, the Spielberg version. The effects were good and Tom Cruise did his best..........yet I found myself hating the entire thing for some reason. Maybe it was simply the ending, I dunno.

Scariest menus I've seen in my life, but the movie...

I m very bad at remembering movies titles
But recently, scary movie 5 was easily the worst one i ve seen this year, and more
I know those movies are usually bad, but I ve laughed at the first few ones, but the 5, worst piece of garbage.

It might have been Dakota Fanning crying the whole time?

Didn't like the movie at first either, saw it in the cinema, but then I watched it time and time again for different reasons and it grew on me.

Cruise is the master of epic sci-fi I have accepted it.

Saw that too, brought nothing new to the genre though and was definitely tedious, but it could have been worst.
