On a plus, a week from today there's our first pre-season game.

How many rookies can join the big boys camp?

I hope a guy like Thomas, Nygren, Hudon, Bozon, Mccarron, Andrighetto, get a chance to play..and practice.

They usually have around 50. Hopefully not so much this year. They've broken it up into 3 teams before... I hope they only go 2 teams.

Eberle scored again. 3-1 Red after 20.

Thomas.

Hudon scores. Apparently a nice, hard work goal. 3-2 Red

I think Hudon is close..he's a pure talent guy, and has some of the best vision I've ever watched.

with the build of our team, a top 9 role would still give him a chance to do his thing. Would love to see him on a line with eller and galchenyuk...ya ya, no defense..blah blah.

Still 3-2 after 40 minutes. Condon and Delmas were in nets. Now on to shootouts.

Seems Duffy scored for red in shootouts. Qualier and Hudon for White.

Canadiens Montréal ‏@CanadiensMTL 1m
Ont marqué pour les Rouges: Duffy. Pour les Blancs: Hudon et Quailer. / Scored for Reds: Duffy. Scored for Whites: Hudon, Quailer.

J-F Chaumont ‏@JFChaumont 17s
#Habs: Victoire des Rouges 3 à 2 contre les Blancs. Ma 1re étoile du match: Charles Hudon. Une bonne note également à Christian Thomas.

( Red wins 3-2. His first star Hudon. Equally impressed by Thomas.

Hopefully after there's some more interviews. Now, off to Subway for some food.

Do you think Hudon have any chance to make THE team this year?

Hudon can't play in Hamilton this season.

Better chance of starting in Montreal than Hamilton, since he's not eligible to play in the AHL (only can play after his junior season is done this year)

I'm excited about Hudon, but no. Too many kids.

Also, isn't Gionta expected to be back for opening day?

Galchenyuk, Gallagher and Dumont. I realize the Gallies have proven themselves to be legit players, but they'll still need to be protected this season.

Can't see Hudon making the Habs this year.....especially with the back issues. Let's get a full junior season and WJC trip under his belt first.

I haven't seen any of the camp video's yet, but Hudon's and Thomas's style of play reminds this poster somewhat of Mats Naslund when he became a Hab. Both players give 100% every shift and can be a nightmare to play against I'm sure. When Naslund came over to play, his career was just starting to peak though and they have a long road to be close to playing like Mats.

Desire and willpower are definitely in their corner, sooner than later both are NHL quality in talent, again though, they have stiff competition to earn their place on the Habs.

Unless the Habs are giving them a taste of the NHL, but Hudon for sure needs to gain some muscle and AHL seasoning. Thomas needs to learn the Habs system before he's ready, like I said haven't seen them play for a while. Another season or two would better prepare them for the Show and the AHL is the best place to learn.

Thomas will be playing in Hamilton, but Hudon has another season before he's old enough to play in the AHL. Each of these players can lift fans out of their seats, whether on defence stealing the puck back or on offence with eye-popping moves and Thomas with his shooting prowess.
