I couldn't care less about the Nothing But Arrests ... I didn't watch one single solitary second yesterday.

NHL = Conservative ... NBA = **** Christmas

PREDATORS (16-17-4) at STARS (18-12-6)

TV: FS-TN, FS-SW

Last 10: Nashville 3-6-1; Dallas 5-3-2

Season series: This is the second game of the season between the Nashville Predators and the Dallas Stars. The Predators defeated the Stars 3-1 Dec. 12 at Bridgestone Arena.

Big story: A recent hot streak by Dallas, coupled with cold spells from the Minnesota Wild and Phoenix Coyotes, has pulled the Stars into the hunt for one of the Western Conference's two wild card spots. If the Stars are to make a move, now could be the time. Dallas opens a five-game homestand Friday against a Predators team on a four-game winless streak.

3-6-1 in our last 10. Yuck.

DVR catch up time. Spaling gave Vic B. a somewhat negative glance after the goal. Hutton gave the, "Oh man, not again." face as well.

This according to Dirk Hoag ...

4 out of the last 5 in the first 3 minutes (2:25 or something, actually).

Lucky that they didn't score on that penalty shot. I think Hutton may have got a piece of it.

Crispy is complaining about a correct call. Rule 83.1 ... it was not an off sides play.

Quote:
If a player legally carries or passes the puck back into his own
defending zone while a player of the opposing team is in such
defending zone, the off-side shall be ignored and play permitted to
continue.

We had a goalie survive the first six minutes of a game. We're only down by one after the first. Comparatively a good night so far.

Dallas announcers just stated Preds game 5 on 5 perfectly! Dump it in, ( hope to get possession), play the point and rush the net and hope to put in garbage! Watched it for years, watched some young talented forwards who are capable of making plays and carry the puck, get benched for doing so. It is NOT the way hockey was meant to be played, awful to watch. I get that it is how your team had to play before, but had hopes with some acquisitions and drafts of skilled players it would change......it looks worse!

Klein scores and it is tied. I have no idea how we are still in this game but we are.
