End is VERY near...


It sounds like this thing could be over within a week or so. It appears the end could be any day now!

Screw both sides for not getting this done earlier... we all have opinions on who is more to blame, but I think we can all agree that both sides were wrong to a significant degree...

I still have nightmare's about Febuary when E.J. Radek annouced the lockout as being over and the next day the season was re-cancelled. I'll bellieve it when i see it.

The end may be a week or a month away, but IMO we can safely call it certain that the season will start on time. The PA can't hold its own membership in line anymore (e.g. Jagr, Roenick, Legace), and so it can't pretend to bargain from a position of strength and solidarity.

It'll be nice to see NHL hockey again.

You could say that again. As much as i didnt miss the NHL , in much of a way I did. But, YES, it would be VERY nice to see NHL hockey again.

Apparently what is keeping the process from being announced is the amount of paperwork that has to be done. That's the slow point...im not even sure they are still really "negotiating" much anymore.
