Except he turns 29 in January. I know he has a "young" arm, but at some point you've reached your ceiling.

I'd like to sign both and trade Shark for a bat.

Garza
Wood
Feldman
Arrieta
Jackson

BTW, IMO, Jackson is nothing more than a long man/mop up man in the playoffs, so he can go too if someone would take him.

Now you just reassembled the 2013 Cubs starting line up at a significantly higher price.

The pitching staff was really good prior to the trades. And remember, that is with Jackson pitching like Micah Bowie. I would like to have that back, but obviously more offensive support is needed. Shark would be a good guy to dangle to get it.

Age is less of a factor. I know it's a lot more quantifiable, so I see your thought pattern.

Edwin Jackson pitched like Edwin Jackson always does. He's a 3.7ish FIP player with control issues, but he can eat innings.

All this reads to me is BWC doesn't like the A's because he's being petty.

KW got fleeced multiple times by Beane. You'd think he'd get the picture and not trade with him.

In one of the fleecing that Beane boasted about the Sox got Neal Cotts who helped win WS

How many rings does Beane have? He wasted the Mulder/Hudson/Zito prime

The hype is overblown, but he did a whole lot with a little. And Neal Cotts? Seriously?

Cant bash a trade as laughable fleecing when only one part of it played a role in winning one of the GM involved a WS

Cotts was pretty damn good that 05 years (As was entire bullpen). Him falling apart sucked as I thought he would be foundation of pen for years

Still he gets more credit then he deserves. Everytime he puts together a good team they underachieve in postseason

Hate rooting for a Detroit team, but don't have any alternative here.

I heard that Kenny Williams is an A's fan. So there's that.

Anyone but the Cardinals. Tigers being out would be preferred.
