I can't believe that happened. Great game to be at! Also, I can't wait to be in Chicago for a few hours next week.

By the way, did anybody else see that quarterback get his leg destroyed? That was gruesome.

Very happy to have been at the Illini game today. Was expecting us to lose, maybe a tight win if things went our way. Was no way expecting us to win that convincingly, so I'll happily take that 2-0 start.

Over 43K showed up. Not bad. I enjoyed it.

I am hoping a four-touchdown win makes more people buy tickets to the game at Soldier Field next Saturday. I'll be there an hope the atmosphere is good and not just a bunch of empty seats scattered amongst the joint.

I don't even know. My phone still shows the Louisville game, sigh. I'm going to be in a Rodney Hood induced fugue state all season.

But yea, 2 losses was a good spot for ND this year. I think that still works.

Notre Dame is the perfect university with the perfect student body and has the best fans in the world. Let's all gush over the brilliance and aura of the great campus and football program in South Bend, Indiana.

I'm so glad they're out of the picture. I figured they would be at some point, but that's now out of the way.

Que?

We were out of the picture when our QB cheated in his classes in spring.

Which fan base is more sanctimonious and self aggrandizing: Packers or STL Cardinals? tough question.

In the IL area I live in everyone was a Bears fan until Favre. Now's it's about 50/50. When Rodgers retires, if the Bears start making the playoffs all the Packer fans in this area will come back to the Bears. I'm not sure if that's a good thing.

Every year I say the ND-Michigan game comes down to turnovers. It would have been a different ball game if Rees didn't throw into triple coverage at the end of the 1st half. In still guessing between 10-2 and 8-4 for the Irish but losing to Michigan always pisses me off.
