Good luck Bader. You're about to get a ****-kicking.

Stupid, Bader, stupid.

Glover has a puncher's chance against Jones but nothing more.

Even when Bader got a good shot in Glover used some great defence to negate those punches and then dropped him.

Poor Bader. I thought he had him there. Just got a bit too wild going for the finish.

Glover gets it done and probably just earned a title shot.

Bader's fight I.Q. is his biggest weakness. Glover didn't look all that impressive despite his finish. It was a nice combo.

They can try to hype it all they want but Jones easily beats Glover.

That was a great fight, impressive finish but as a whole - Glover's failed to really impress me in the UFC. Very well rounded and no weaknesses, big and strong but I think he's too slow for Jones. Bader was beating him to the punch pretty consistently.

In all fairness, Bader is pretty quick. That being said, he's still nowhere near as fast as Jones, Gustafsson or Machida. I don't see Glover doing too well against any of them on the feet, and I don't see him being able to take them to the ground.

I think Jones would have him chasing him all over the ring. I don't think Glover's fast enough to get inside and deal with the length and distance of Jones. Punchers chance. Glover seems to be pretty hittable too

How can you say that? It looks like that on paper, but the toughest test Jones has had in the UFC was from Belfort, and that fight was supposed to be a joke.

Decent fights tonight overall.

That fight was tough for about 20 seconds because of the armbar.

I think Glover is too slow for Jones.

Yup, too slow and gets hit too often. Jones takes him down and subs him or elbows him to death.

Only caught the last four fights tonight, but good finishes in all of them. Entertaining for sure.

I'm having a hard time figuring out how exactly Gus beats Jones. He's tall, but the reach disadvantage is huge. That takes a knockout out of the equation, most likely. He's not going to submit him and he's not going to out point fight him. He doesn't have better wrestling than Jones either. His best chance to hit Jones is by getting close and that plays into Jones huge clinch advantage.

Short version: don't count on it

Bader looked a lot better standing than I thought he would. I knew he wouldn't get the better of the grappling, but I didn't expect him to be winning the standup at any point. It looked like he buckled Glover twice to me. Glover looked extremely slow in comparison. This is 2-3 times now Glover has been caught. I like him, and his run is very impressive, but Jones should handle him no sweat. The one thing he has going for him is he does seem to have the type of one shot power that realistically is the only way Jones is losing.

As Live mentioned, I just don't see how Gus wins that fight. Jones picks him apart at distance, dominates him in the grappling, and Gus doesn't have huge one shot KO power. They're playing up the size angle in all the previews, but it doesn't rival Jones' in the sense that it can prevent Jones from fighting his fight. Jones could beat him standing, but I see him putting him on his back relatively easily, and it getting ugly from there.

I don't see why the height is such a big deal for Jones v Gus. The reach advantage is more important.

I think Jones shows off his submission skills with back to back subs v Gus and Glover.

Glovers' post fight disappointment made me a bigger fan. Guy has the drive and the heart to challenge jj, he will test that chin at the very least.

That's how I feel about it as well. The Phil Davis fight was a long time ago and I'm sure Gus has improved his wrestling quite a bit since that time but he hasn't fought a very good wrestler since then either. I think it goes the way m9 predicts the Jones/Glover fight to go, Jones takes him down and subs him or drops elbows until the ref steps in.

By credentials Bader is a better wrestler then Jones and Glover tossed him a few times.

Come fight time I'd wager Bader weighs more then Jones too.

You just never know what is going to happen until they step into the cage.
