For the anglophone: Kilger shouldn't have any after-effects of his injury, and he might be in the line-up for the first game of the season! Great stuff.

----------
Saturday September 27, 2003 - (RDS) - Good news in the case of the attacker Chad Kilger since this last should not preserve any after-effect of the incident which could have made him lose the use of its left eye two weeks ago.

It must again meet the doctors next Monday and if he obtains the green light, he hopes to be able to be in measurement to dispute the first match of the calendar which will take place on October 9 in Ottawa. Kilger started to be involved on a stationary bicycle and on its return it will adopt the half-visor definitively.

"I hope to find my vision at 100% and it seems that it will be the case. He should be waited until blood(spelling mistake in the french article?) is completely disappeared ".

"I hope to be at my position for the match of opening. I must re-examine the doctor Monday. When blood(same spelling mistake?) disappears, we will carry out other tests "added Kilger.

I am surprised about how long this news took, Sportsnet out here in Vancouver reported something similiar two or three days ago.

Sportsnet has a habbit of reporting unconfirmed stories though.
