Boys, can't say I'm expecting much at all outta this season, but having testosterone-fuelled men with athletic women in the house, I could see some intra house drama that may be entertaining.

Didn't Rousey make Ortiz tap in training before he became Cyborgs manager?

The quality of the women on the show is just embarrassing. It was really, really hard to watch at times.

Also, even the season highlight package was pretty tame. I'll be optimistic but I'm a bit skeptical with how this season will go.

I didn't see that at all. A little fuzzy on the names, but Jessamyn Duke has the Bones Jones body and had a good-enough looking rubber guard and Peggy Morgan could stand and bang. The COMPETITION might suck -- Shayna Baszler is a monster and she might just waltz through 3 easy wins -- but I thought there was talent there.

Men's division, same thing ... Chris Holdsworth is like Roy Nelson -- "one of these things is not like the other." He already got some love in the 2010 UFC video game (whatever happened to Simgo?) and he has that nasty, aggressive, Fitch/Shields style of grappling. Part of TUF is introducing us to these new fighters, but Holdsworth in that house seems like putting an NHL player back in Major Juniors. There were some interesting men on the show, but I could see Holdsworth winning the show in a total of about 9 minutes.

Sorry, I was more talking about the women's side.

Holdsworth is good, but Josh Hill is a solid prospect as well.

I think it was just by word of mouth. Could be someone else besides Ortiz, can't remember now.

This. I'm embarrassed I created a thread for this season

I mean, I signalled it was very likely going to be a lame season but wow, that was brutal and so was the forward-look package

That's what I found crazy - it looks like nothing happens all year. Someone jumps in a pool and Rousey slaps a water bottle? And those are the highlights? Not to mention the women's fights that even Nikita Krylov and Soa Polalei will find embarrassing with the lack of skill.

Anyone see that Frankie Edgar and B.J Penn are going to be the TUF 19 coaches?
