Weisse and Sestito vs Burish and Sheppard (a noted goon, )??

Typical Canuck BS, but the B's are the dirty team...

I watched most of this game and I think SJ had five regulars (Pavelski, Burish, Sheppard, Irwin, Desjardins), so I would not read too much into this game.

CH24 a behind the scenes look at the Habs 2012-2013 season is on the NHLN-US for the next 3 hours. Just in case anybody wants to take vacation time or call out sick to watch.

Sobotka just took an elbow to the head from Tampa's Adam Erne. He is heading off to the locker room, likely for the quiet room

I'm surprised there isn't a dedicated thread or anyone in this thread following Seguin's progress. He seems to be off to a good start in his first 2 preseason games. 3 points so far, all on the powerplay.

Sobotka practiced today and is fine, according to Blues coach Ken Hitchcock. He thought the league would look at the hit by Erne (who had 2 goals and the SO clincher), but acording to TB, they have not been contacted by the league, so no discipline likely. Most of the writers thought the hit was illegal, but not "head hunting". Erne apologized after the game, saying "It was a total accident", unintentional and that he got him with the shoulder, not elbow.

Interesting aside, Hitchcock was not happy with the team's response to the hit, but player Kris Stewart had a different opinion. Guess who wins that argument?

http://prohockeytalk.nbcsports.com/2...o-sobotka-hit/

-------

Keeping with the SOB news, he will continue to center a line, with rookies Dimitri Jaskin and Ty Rattie.

Jaskin (two goals) on Sobe last night: "Sobe is one of the best players. He makes the game easy for you."

(Wish the B's could find young talented players like that...)

-------

Also, apologize if this has been posted already, but Jamie Benn named Stars Captain today.

Can't believe Seguin didn't get it...

Not really weak. Just not in gamesaving mode.

Yet, one guy who was in gamesaving mode, was Khudobin. He didn't steal his 1st star. Incredible display of goaltending tonight by him.

More evidence for my theory that Habs fans take shifts to monitor our board in case anything resembling criticism of a Canadien happens.

You can stop your conspiracy theory. I often visit your board with not a whole lot of bad intentions in it. 2 things though....you don't know that, but I'm not Price biggest fan....even known as a Hater in Habs board. And why I visited the out of town board at that time was because the game had just ended...hence the post of your Bruins fan, and mine right after....

Weiss just gave Hall a nasty headshot. Second time the Canucks have targeted Hall.
