I was going to most likely win in both my fantasy leagues but his garbage time points sealed it for me...so I got that.

Bright side at least the Cowboys kind of suck too, it should not come down to an onside kick when the other team committed 6 turnovers.

Giants need to get their RB situation figured out. WRs and Eli looked pretty good overall, but the turnovers, especially from the RBs brutal.

I guarantee so many people have already stated the Jets got lucky because of a stupid play. While that may be the case, how many people were those same people stating that the Jets didn't stand a chance in the game in the first place?

A win is a win is a win. Geno looked overall relatively solid. A few mistakes that you tend to see out of a rookie quarterback, but he really didn't get great protection all day. When he had time, he was throwing strikes. Also, his running ability was a huge factor in our win obviously.

The front 7 looked great too, but Freeman made mincemeat out of our secondary. Kind of concerned with what Brady can do against them, but I think Cromartie will definitely have a better day against the Pats receivers than he did against Vincent Jackson.

Jets winning is impressive.

They might get 6 wins this year now.

Way more than most, including myself, expect!

All I asked for at the beginning of the year was to beat Revis and beat the Pats once. I'm already half way to being satisfied this year.

david wilson you can't keep putting the churches money on the ground like that.

giants are gonna be alright, even with all the retardation we nearly had another installment of Flowers For Eli at the end.

I thought the refs won that game for the Jets. The foul was his hands while both his feet were in bounds, really?

As for my Pats an ugly win is better than a pretty or an ugly loss.

He's clearly right on the white once he shoves him. There was absolutely no need to do it. Definitely the right call.

I'm going to have to assume you're a Jet's fan?

That's an absurd penalty.

I literally would not have gotten a penalty for that when I played Pop-Warner football as a little kid. NFL football is getting so ********* with each passing year it's disgraceful. I fully expect NFL to be a "2 hand touch" league by the time I have grandkids.

Of course I'm a Jets fan haha. But why do you think every other Buccaneer lets up on the play outside of him? They know the play is dead essentially. What does this gain you? It's completely unnecessary. Doesn't matter whether it was a shove or a hit. He was on the white. Sorry.

Sure, it's the continuation of the pussification of football, but by the book it's a good call.

And by the way, he sent Geno sliding into the bench, it's not as if Geno stayed on his feet. Maybe he sold it, but he went down.

You should look up the Gholston penalties. Great heavy hitting shots by him, I believe their were 3 at least in the first half that he got penalties for. You may as well give safeties pillows to hit receivers with because coming down and making a big hit isn't even worth it anymore.

His second hit shouldn't have been a flag. Kerley was going down already, but I guess because he flew in from the back and got him in the back of the head they warranted it.

I still think he hit the facemask with the first hit, but can see when you slow it all the way down that it was largely in the chest.

Hey, I don't disagree with the NFL getting overprotective, but I see where the useless shove of Geno can be called. Maybe I'm a homer, I don't know.

I know most of this board hates the Jets but come on now, Goldson was clearly headhunting and David should have known in that situation Geno was going out of bounds with >10 seconds and no timeouts left. He deserved the penalty just for stupidity.

That's essentially how I see it also. He's on the white, the rest of your team clearly lets up, it doesn't benefit you whatsoever to even touch him.

as I said, definitely a borderline penalty. but that doesn't mean David should have done it.

It looks like he didn't make the first down marker - and he easily could have cut up at the last second to go for it. I see why he went to shove him when he did - it's not that horrible of a call imo. Not even in the same category as the Matthews hit.

The only play from that game that I saw was the gif above. I couldnt care less about the Jets or Bucs, so I'm very objective on this either way. I just hate seeing this game turned into something unrecognizable from what I watched/played as a kid.

Not a Jets hater at all personally. I root for them to do well. Gholston I see it as him going for big hits as safeties used to be allowed to do.

The hitting of QBs out of bounds is just stupid by the D player, whither it be Tampa or Greenbay. It is very difficult for the defender though because its all happening in a split second and if you remember, earlier in the game Geno made a last second cut back up the sideline and got the few extra yards for the first down. (Similar to what RG said)

You're buying into what Rex is selling huh?

They're more desperate than I thought bringing in Jacobs. That'd be the equivalent of us bringing in Langs.
