GDT: End of Angels @ Rangers

The only meaningful game left.

Also, congrats to the Indians.

And yes, I wrote Angels at Angels originally.

Alright so:

Cleveland is in the WC playoff regardless now, yeah?

It's TB and TEX that have to figure things out?

Correct.

TEX wins - Rays @ Rangers tomorrow

TEX loses - Rays @ Indians on Wednesday in the WC game

Nice, thanks to Sportsnet i can count on that game being on TV too.

Sounds good to me, AL tiebreaker at probably 2-3 ish, then the Dolphins game on MNF.

MAKE IT HAPPEN TEXAS!

I'm conflicted here. A one game playoff would be great, but I enjoy seeing the Rangers lose.

Really hope TX wins as I want to see what amounts to 3 single elimination playoff games.

And one of these years you are going to have 3 teams tied for the second WC spot. What are the rules in that case?

Jarmo, it would only be 2 single game eliminations (unless you are counting the NL one).

As for your question, have fun! http://mlb.mlb.com/news/article.jsp?...ey=news_mlb_nd

Not sure, I recall some tie-breakers at night (the Padres-Rockies one in 2007), others in the afternoon (Tigers-Twins in 2009).

Rangers 6 outs away.

It's 8 PM tomorrow if necessary.
Yankee and Astros beat writers must be going nuts. Last day of the regular season between two teams playing out the string, and we're going to 13.

Edit: Brett Wallace just pinch hit ending the 12th, finally answering the question, "where's Wallace?"

If i'm the Sox i'm praying that Tampa doesn't find their way to Fenway or else they're in trouble.

Texas has taken care of business against Tampa the last two times they met in the playoffs

Looks like Vernon Wells will end his season with an 0-6 to cap off a 2-31 spell. Sums up his year.

Adrian Beltre hits the ball over some fencing they set up before the game and gets his head rubbed. See you tomorrow night.

TBS will air the American League tiebreaker -- the Rays at Rangers -- on Monday at 8 p.m. ET.
