Glad somebody feels the same as me.

The events in that game that lead to the home run warranted the "stand and watch", the 3rd baseman shouldn't have said a word.

Spitting on the bag is rude but not a huge deal IMO and the most embarassing part of the whole deal is that 3rd baseman running in like a tough guy only to hide behind the ump and make hand gestures.

A joke and an embarrassment.

Wish I knew how to make or where to look for gifs because that would make a good one.

If by "trash" you mean one of the best relievers in baseball, then I agree.

No he isnt, he blows every important games. Other than that yes. I have seen Boone Logan get outs in more important games.

Soriano sucks. He always grounds into double plays in important at bats.

David Robertson pitched so poorly, that the official scorer exercised a rarely used option to disqualify him from a win. First time I've seen that

These Yankee games are incredibly tense. I feel relief and no joy when they end.

Getting a win out of the Hughes/Huff rotation spot is huge. Looks to me like they can configure the rotation and only use a 5th starter twice in the final sixteen.
Also, when Ryan and Stewart were up in the 9th, I figured they needed a Granderson homer to win it in nine. Great to get an unexpected rally.

Well, yeah, it's official. First time since 2007 that the defending champs will not finish over .500.

AL WC race:

TEX (14) 81-64 -2.0 17
TBR 79-66 -- 17
NYY 79-68 1.0 15
CLE 78-68 1.5 16
KCR 77-69 2.5 16
BAL 77-69 2.5 16

Rangers host the A's.

Rays are in Minny...they have to win at least 2 of 3.

Yankees are in Boston.

Indians remain in Chicago.

Royals in Detroit.

Orioles in Toronto...they probably have to sweep.

A-Rod has instilled a never say die attitude into this rag tag overachieving group. Feel good story of the year for sure.

The Pirates go back-to-back-to-back including a Pedro Alvarez inside the parker.

Wow.
