This is the current batting order right now:

Presley

Dozier
Arcia
Plouffe
Parmelee
Mastroianni
Thomas (as in Clete)
Escobar

With Kevin Correia pitching to boot. Seriously, anything less than a sweep would be disappointing for them imo.

Crushed.

What a season. Joins The Babe and Albert Belle as the only guys in MLB history with 40 doubles and 50 HRs. Incredible.

Wow. Ray Fosse, former catcher and current A's color man just said a few things.

First, he said he was told that during game 6 of the WS in 2011, after Feliz blew the save and Hamilton homered to give the Rags a lead in the 10th, they couldn't put Feliz out because he had been crying and was too emotional to pitch.

The next part, Gary Pettis told him they had Cruz positioned on the warning track, where the Freese ball was hit, but he kept creeping in during the at bat. If he would have been in his original spot, he would have caught the ball easily.

Wow.

Why do teams run on Yadier Molina? That's honestly doing the Cards a favor. Mariners just handed the Cards two outs in the 9th, one on a hit and run(understandable), another on a straight steal attempt with Zunino, who had already homered, at the plate. I just don't understand it.

3-0 Rays. Final.

Reds and Pirates lose. Cards tied at 1.

A's bombarding the (dare we say) collapsing Rangers, 9-2.

I don't think the Mariners know who Yadier Molina is...they're trying their hardest to just give this game to the Cards. Between the defense in the 8th and the way too aggressive base-running in the 9th...I can't believe this even made it to extras.

I have a severe hatred of the Seattle Mariners right now...that was just sad. The only way they could have tried to lose that game harder was to intentionally walk four guys in a row.

(Obviously not saying they threw the game, they're just ****ing awful.)

Minus the double, Doolittle dominated that inning. Profar was frozen for that entire at-bat. Up 4.5 games now.

Doolittle and Donaldson deserve game balls.

Ryan Cook deserves a trip to hell.

Nice little story of Cody Clark for the Astros. Years in the minors and after a few weeks with Houston finally got his first hit tonight.
