DeJesus!!!!

One Rays player on the field is in a Chewbaca mask, another is in a Gene Simmons KISS mask. I have no idea what's going on with that.

Seven precious hours of my life.

Thank God we won, or I would've been unimaginably dejected.

So the AL WC race now looks like:

*TBR 84-69 +0.5 9
*CLE 84-70 -- 8
TEX 83-70 0.5 9
BAL 81-72 2.5 9
KCR 81-72 2.5 9
NYY 81-73 3.0 8

Realistically, BAL and KCR have to sweep today and tomorrow against TB and TEX to have any realistic shot. A split won't do it.

Why baseball is great.

In the NFL you'd be fined for that.

First rain in northern california in 3 months. Thank god. I kind of hope it delays the a's game until around 4 so they can play at the same time as tex/kc.

They should give Lew Wolff a swirly in that dugout.

****ing *******. One of the richest ownership groups in terms of wealth in baseball, I mind you.

Dejesus . I need a gif of that flop. Credit Davis who kept on running and got a triple even though it looked like a routine fly ball.

Cobb was filthy today.

And DeJesus goes from being the hero this morning to owing Cobb a dinner tonight.

A's destroying minny early. 6-0 in the 3rd.

Uf they can drag this one out long enough they could perhaps celebrate on the field today.

Went to see the Yanks today. On the one hand, it was nice to see Nova look dominant, on the other hand, I wish he had pitched poorly enough to make it a save situation.

Texas is up 3-0, so that's looking unlikely.

Pirates and Reds tied at 2.

Indians en route to another win against the AAAstros.

Nathan closes it out. Big win for Texas and a huge loss for KC.

Magic number for Oakland will remain 1, but they can gain a game on Boston and Detroit if the Jays and White Sox can hold onto 1 run leads in the 9th (big if).

Grilli back as the Pirates closer, up 4-2 in the 9th.

White Sox about to pull off a major choke job? It was 6-0 in the 9th. It's 6-5, bases loaded, 1 out. Hunter up.

Sac fly ties it. Poor Chris Sale.

Grilli closes it out. Pirates win it.

That one felt good.

Why the **** did Ventura leave Jones in there to give up 5 runs without getting an out? What a moron.

Carpenter broke Stan the Mans single season Cardinal record for doubles by a lefty bat.
