Condolences to his family and circle.

Moving on, I'll have a little confession to make: the first time I watched a baseball game at Oakland Coliseum out of my own volition was vs the New York Yankees back in July 2012.

When the A's swept a regular-season series vs the Yankees, the A's fans in attendance acted like they just won the World Series and gave me the impression the whole place was Oakland Zoo!

Amusingly, when I watched the July 22, 2012 game, everybody showed up! Besides the obvious A's and Yankee fans, Red Sox, Giants, Padres, and Dodgers fans all showed up, just to root vs the Yankees!

My former roommate gave me a hard time, simply because the Yankees lost.

Also, despite regretting not to attend the June 20, 2012 game vs the Dodgers, I even heard very loud "BEAT L.A.!" chants, even as I was driving along the 880. Wow.

In addition, I also met a lot of A's and Giants fans while I was attending school up there.

Ironically, that reminded me of the time when I talked to a Clippers fan in real life and told me, "You never break your hometown team's heart on national television."

So, what do you think of the prospect of seeing a Warriors-Clippers 2014 NBA WCF match-up?

It's like Ducks-Sharks of the NBA, simply because Warriors are the Bay Area's NBA team, while the Clippers are second billing to the Lakers, akin to how the Sharks are the SF Bay Area's NHL team, with the Ducks, being 2nd billing to the Los Angeles Kings.

Also, that Miami nWo is gonna threepeat...4 LIFE!

Confession: the only reason why I'm rooting for the Heat is because I want Pat Riley to achieve a threepeat in his lifetime and he's a former Laker coach.

Also, WTF? Friday the 13th, 14th, 15th June 2014 vs the Yankees in Oakland Coliseum? Oh, man.

A's had something like 13 regular season sell outs last year. Attendance is going up as the team is getting better, of course. So are the ticket prices. Don't think ill be attending 12 games like i did last year.

Glad i got cable and a flat screen lol.

The warriors heat game was nuts. Glad the dubs lost, even.if my team won't catch them lol.

Don't see it here, but Crisp signed a 2 year extension with a team option for a 3rd year a few days ago. Great if he can stay healthy.

That's a huge if. He's missed 25+ games in each of the last four seasons (not counting his awful year with the Royals), including only 75 games played one year. I don't believe his home run surge is real. What I do wonder is where all of the stolen bases went. It could be a good deal if he continues to play like he has with Oakland (2.0+ WAR in each of his four years), but I wouldn't count on him staying healthy for the whole year. He's still a solid player in his mid-30s.

To be honest, I thought them trading for Gentry would be the end of Crisp in Oakland, but I guess I was wrong.

The team in general didn't steal as much. Coco was still very good doing it last year.

I was bored, so I decided to watch the "dunk contest". Never again. They changed the format, the dunks were awful, everyone kept missing, etc. At least there were no cars this time...

Harrison Barnes should never be in the dunk contest ever again. Ben McLemore was alright, but not great.

I don't think Steph Curry made the finals of the three point contest. I didn't watch that.

Warriors trade Kent Bazemore and MarShone Brooks to the Lakers for Steve Blake.

Finally a backup PG. Like this move a lot.

Lakers are tanking. As a Laker fan, all I ask is for the Warriors to beat the Clippers, if it came down to that matchup in the 2014 WCF.

Low risk trade for gsw. Still think Brooks will be pretty good.

Kings traded Marcus Thornton for Jason Terry and Reggie Evans. I'm surprised someone took on Thornton's contract, and I woukdn't be surprised if Terry is bought out.

The Cleveland Browns nearly traded for Jim Harbaugh. Yes, nearly traded for a coach... that would be so Cleveland.

At least Jim is savvy enough to disapprove it; after all, his big brother John would regularly beat him up, had Jim agreed instead.

Remember "Harbowl"?

Jed York tweeted that this never happened and the entire 49ers franchise deny it. Everyone knows Harbaugh would never go to Cleveland. Hell, he'd have left for Texas befire Cleveland. But much like that story, this one is full of ****.

Somebody using anonymity to talk out their ass and make news when there is none.

Sf and Harbaugh are apart in extension talks, but both sides are just playing hardball and they know they're made for each other. Draft picks.aren't an issue with SF and they know how valuable coach is. He'll get his deal.

Harbaugh would know if it happened and if York is lying by saying it didn't, Harbaugh will never be able to trust a word he says.

What do these guys speaking through "multiple sources" have to lose?

Eric Sogard is in the semifinals of MLB Network's Face of MLB "competition"...

Any vote that allows the same person to vote multiple times is so stupid.

Do you think that would work in the Playoffs, should the Warriors face the Rockets in the 1st round?

Rockets and Warriors are the respective #3 and #6 in the Western Conference seeds.
