That's a lot of quality going to STL, but they'll balk (as they should). You'd need to send some piece that approached Pietrangelo's value to even get them to hear you out, and that offer doesn't cut it. They'd ask for Giroux.

Pietrangelo is RFA and he will ask around 7 per and STL will never pay him that salary. He have a good value but he's not a Norris candidate or winner

Finishing 4th for the Norris in 2011 does not count?

The rest just isn't even worth discussing.

You clearly are not even in the right ballpark in understanding Pietrangelo's value..

They are 1 million apart per year, they will meet in the middle, don't worry for us. Thanks though.

As an outsider, I think Voracek, B Schenn, L Schenn and a 1st in 14 for Pietrangelo is fair. Not that either would do that.

They should just make an all purpose Pietrangelo thread, the amount of proposals is getting ridiculous

If you want Petro it would take Giroux, no point in furthering the conversation. Lets just both walk away

How much cap space do the Blues have available? 7.6 million....Do you think it was an accident they traded Perron to clear cap space? The rumors are Pietrangelo wants 7 million the Blues want to pay 6 million. He will get signed eventually. It's the same agent that Doughty, Subban and O'Reilly had. Pietrangelo will most probably miss some games this season but he'll get signed eventually.

It is a fair offer, but OP is offering: Brayden Schenn, Braydon Coburn, Samuel Morin, Nick Cousins and 1rst round 2014

That's not ''that'' horrible. There's a whole lot of value going in the first three pieces. Dougie would think about it for sure.

That's homerism at his best.

I am not going to debate the value of the proposed trade, because it is obvious you believe it is fair. However, there are more components to a hockey trade than market value.

I'm not kidding myself. Armstrong would be stupid to trade Pietrangelo for that package. That's a whole lot of quantity for quality there. It's terribad.
