Or did you mean he'd return from an injury to play quite well?

If so, that's ...good.

We have a look at what projected lineup Therrien has for the beginning of the season methinks.

Bourque-Plekanec-Gionta
Galchenyuk-Eller-Gallaher

Pacioretty-Desharnais-Brière
Moen-Prust-White/Parros

I assume you are talking about a potential replacement for Gionta while injured?

If so, I agree.

Pretty good lines, IMO.

As for the D, this is only Day 1, but:

J-F Chaumont ‏@JFChaumont 42s
#Habs: Si on se base sur le 1er entraînement, la ligne bleue du CH serait: Gorges-Subban, Markov-Diaz, Bouillon-Murray...

BTW, isn't the intra-team game starting at 11?

#Habs: Le premier but du camp est l'oeuvre de Michaël Bournival. Il bat Carey Price.

Our NHL goalies are letting in AHLers' shots.

Bournival on Price and MacAuley on Budaj.

Actually, they have more to prove if anything, which means they might actually try too hard.

This is exactly what I meant, and I should really have been a little more specific

Unfortunately neither of them can replace Gionta's stellar 5 on 5 play, but they might be able to replace his production, to a lesser extent of course.

The more I see Thomas, the more I am encouraged. He's got skills.

White hurt..."serious" cut above his eye from a high stick.

Marc Antoine Godin ‏@MAGodin 58s
Ryan White a été coupé sérieusement au-dessus de l'oeil droit quand il a été atteint par le bâton - celui de Pateryn je crois.

Arpon Basu ‏@ArponBasu 3s
Just 22 minutes into first scrimmage of #Habs camp and blood scraping crew was required. White was leaking pretty heavily above right eye.

According to Twitter it was either Pateryn, Eller or Prust's stick

You think Bozon paid off Pateryn?

Man, gotta feel bad for White. Rough year last year and this ones off to a painful start at first practice
