Ilya seems to be the logical pick. Tallon likes to make low risk moves, can't see Ilya commanding all that much at this point either.

In a train wreck kind of way. Just sign Thomas and be done with it. He can "mentor" Markstrom by out-performing him and stealing his job.

M. Goc
Why would the Canucks even consider this? This is terrible!

How so? Bryz would be better off in a market where the media isn't constantly hassling him. Florida would be nice for him to attempt to re-establish himself in the league. But with Markstrom, Panthers are definitely looking for a 1 year stop-gap veteran. Thomas could bring a lot to the table.

Theodore turned down tryout offer

@LavoieRenaud 1 min
With Clemmensen out for 3 weeks, Panthers offered a PTO to Jose Théodore today. Théodore rejected the offer. He's waiting for a contract.

Why would Florida was assets, when there is just as good or better goalies out there than Reimer?

Bryz would be an awful mentor for Markström..

He wasn't too terrible of a mentor to the current Vezina winner.

Truthfully, Bryzgalov would probably be a better match for Florida, than Thomas would.

Sabres can offer you one slightly used Olympic MVP.

People need to get off bryzgalovs back. He is a good goalie and he might succeed on a different team. Just look at what happened with bobrovski.
