I'm a tad skeptical Vlad.

Was thinking of doing something Star Wars, but just didn't. It'll be interesting to see what you do with it.

I have two options in mind. Both will take place after the two trilogies.

1-A TV Series

2-A Movie, and if people like it, a TV spin-off in season 4

I know this may be blasphemy when it comes to the OT Star Wars...but I would go re-make.

Until Mark Hamill is erased entirely, I will not be satisfied.

I am not a purist, the OT acting sucked.

Though I would also not allow Lucas anywhere near the Screenplay nor Directors chair.

In creating the universe, he has done his bit.

The rights to Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator by Roald Dahl

I just announced an animated adaptation of The BFG, but you can't have too much Roald Dahl, so it's all good.

Am I allowed to draft artists so I can use their music, or do they have to have done composing work for movies before?

I am under the impression that any artist's previously released material is fair game (but the material needs to be drafted if used as "Hotel California", I think)

If you want to draft an artist to compose for your projects, I do not believe they have to have previous composing experience.

I think you could probably draft George W. to act or direct in your movies, if you wanted...but it doesn't give people much to base the finished product off of. Musicians are not the same, since they already produce the art, you have a basis.

This was debated in the first season, but I don't remember all the details, as I usually just staff my projects with typical film composers.

You can draft any musician or band, I believe, to compose a score.

If you want the rights to a particular song, you don't need to draft the artist to do so, but, if someone else has drafted the artist, I think there is a royalty fee to be paid, but I'm not sure. I think it's about $1 million per song.

If you have drafted a musician, I think you have full access to their library of music to use in your films (I'm not sure on this). Hopefully, one of the others may be able to shed some light on this, particularly those that were heavily involved in the discussions about it.

Perfect, it was just one song I was looking for. Thanks

Where's My Burrito would like to announce the free agent signing of

Terrence Dashon Howard

I'm probably going to throw him in SOSHOPSAFE and The Harvester. He's a rising star, and I loved him in Crash, and just recently in Four Brothers. I figure he's too good of a talent to be sitting on the sidelines. I still haven't seen Hustle and Flow, but apparently, there's oscar talk for work in that.
