It pains me to admit the fact, which is that TPS is now days the joke of an organisation in our League. I thought that you can't go lower than Ilves has but here we are. Our hockey branch is an embarasment to this great sports club.

Apparently, Francis Pare hadn't even asked for being transfered to KHL. He wanted to stay, his contract was covering next season also. And they still sold him. Then they dare to say to the media "he was aiming for KHL and we didn't want to stay in the way". **** off.
HC TPS needs a total rebuild. Not only on the ice, but with the management as well. Actually, the latter is far more important.

Why, oh why does the football season still have to be so far away?

After last season, is there anything positive to expect from that area either?

True, we are going to cut our budget, we are losing key players and we haven't even secured a place to play yet. But that is mild comparing to the situation in hockey. It's not just that we suck, if you have seen the stuff thats come up in the recent months (losing our captain to Rauma, the messy contracts with Suominen etc.), you should now it's about much bigger things than just sucking on the ice.

What the heck is wrong with TPS, in general? HC and FC are just downshifting until the days of greatness are only a faint memory.

Yeah, things for Ässät could always be worse.

Will be interesting if they go with the fire sale at some point also.

Cluster**** is an appropriate term for that organization. Jokerit are awfully close to that right now.

Pelicans must be in really bad shape to allow 8 goals against Jokerit yesterday. Jokerit probably reached their quota for the next 10 in games in that.

Not confirmed.

If that happens though, I might follow SM-liiga little bit next year. I like Sport and their loud fans.

If somebody saw his comments in last Derby, his head doesn't still have everything in control though he has made IFK playing now productive hockey.

Oh I think this is just one of his lucid/genius phases, like when he took Omsk to the KHL finals. Getting himself under control permanently is probably never going to happen.

Friday night, Petri Varis jersey retirement and the attendance at Hartwall Areena is...7.962. Fans have really given up on this team.

At least the Varis ceremony was done nicely from what I've read. On that note, here's the most famous goal he scored, aka The Ultimate Humiliation:

Love those Ilves WC jerseys.. woow... And then they regullary play with those horrible shirts. That's right, shirts.. Lyyga could be so much better product if they actually cared about these little things, that aren't even so hard to do..
