Koudys has an assist tonight for his first point for Penn State.

Barber with a PPG to tie the game vs Providence at 2. Lost in OT to Providence.

Di Pauli & Wuthrich are in Duluth playing vs UMD and Herbert. McPhee is at the game according to two Duluth sources: @BruceCiskie & @sportsguygregc (Greg Chandler tweeted to me that McPhee's son is playing in a tourney there.) So much for watching Herbert, spearing penalty and a game misconduct.

@BruceCiskie "... It was a spear, but it wasn't much of one."

BC Minnesota game is on tv at 8 eastern. Boyd with a goal.

OHL: Erie vs London: http://www.ontariohockeyleague.com/s...how/game/66324

Burakovsky with 2 assists so far.

Burakovsky two assists in the Otters 5-1 win over London. Looks like he's starting to gel a bit with Harper and Curtis.

Swedish posters on HF were saying he tends to be a bit of a puck hog and not like to pass it, assists withstanding, have you seen that?

At the beginning, yes, but it seems he is starting to settle into the North American game, and he's begging to trust not just his linemates but all of his teammates more as well. He still needs to improve but he's not being a puck hog at all. And it seems he is really enjoying his time here thus far, who wouldnt enjoy a 9 game winning streak and a 11-2-1-0 record.

2013 2nd rounder Zack Sanford is off to a nice start. Big and rough with a scoring touch. Keep drafting those North Americans George.

Saturday:

Barber already with 2 goals and assist tonight Miami vs Providence. ( Barber with a PPG to tie the game early in the third.)

Caleb Herbert with his first goal of the season for UMD and an assist; Di Pauli not dressed for Notre Dame. Wuthrich had the only goal for Notre Dame in the 4-1 UMD win.

Burakovsky with a goal to make it 4-0 Erie over Peterborough

Stephenson picks up an assist for Regina, so only one game so far this season where he doesn’t have a point. Back to last night, Chandler Stephenson with 1g/1a in a 7-2 loss; only 1 game without a point. Also Friday, Bowey picked up 2 more assists.

Good to know he's not riding an inflated shooting percentage. Not that he's going to keep putting up 2 points per game.

I've tried to keep the waters cool on Barber for a while, but I'm starting to get pretty excited.

Just remember that he's a right-handed shot, so he probably won't get a chance to play with the Caps anyway.

He meant he's starting to get excited about being able to trade him for Curtis Glencross at the deadline.

Barber still needs to find another gear in his skating I think but, yeah, pretty impressive otherwise.

Lewington had a goal last night. Stephenson another assist, so still only one game without a point for Regina. Sanford's point streak ended at 6 for Waterloo with last night's 4-2 loss and no points.

Had been looking for information on why Di Pauli missed the second game last weekend; confirmation it was due to injury; obviously, he didn't play in today's game for Notre Dame.

Steve Lowe ‏@NDhockeySBT 30 Oct
@NotreDame hockey will be without F Thomas DiPauli & D Eric Johnson for "a few weeks" according to Jeff Jackson. Upper body injuries.

More from Saturday night: Bowey scored the GWG for Kelowna and Haar assisted on Portland's GWG. Sanford had a goal for Waterloo.

Quote:
Zach Sanford added an insurance goal at 10:42 of the third, snapping a shot from the left circle to the top corner, after receiving the puck at center from Horton.

Here's the Kelowna link about Bowey being named captain.

Burakovsky had a 5 on 3 PPG in today's 6-2 Erie loss to London. Stephenson had an assist in Regina's 3-1 win over Moose Jaw.

From a couple of weeks ago, but Di Pauli /Hinostroza Notre Dame article from South Bend paper. link
