This Comcast set looks really cheesy. Is this what we have to look at all season?

Claude Julien said this, interesting from a coach's perspective:

Quote:
“For coaches, I think [the hybrid icing] is a bit of a mixed feeling. We’re very supportive of it when it comes to the safety of the players,” said Claude Julien. “I think what it does sometimes is take away some of the plays [you can make]. You’ve seen us use at time before, right from inside our blue line we’d rim the puck in and had our fore check just to get the puck in deep.”

Zac Laught Schenns Cousin look good.

Gus looks like a Carle Walker Jone hybrid, lucky they dont cut guys after 2 periods.

Really like how Cousins will do everything he can to be in the right place, even if it means clawing his way there.

doubt it

that was part of the reason why he struggled in his final season with Toronto

I doubt it, the Flyers made it a priority for him to lose weight after being acquired from Toronto.

qft.

gus has looked pretty bad. seems like every time he does something good, he goes and makes two boneheaded mistakes immediately thereafter

The Flyers are buzzing in the Leafs zone we should be rewarded pretty soon if we keep it up.

Heard it too.

Holmstrom looks pretty solid by the way. Sad that he's got another rookie likely jumping him this year. A couple years back he didn't make the team because of Couturier, then he got hurt, and now he's got Hall and likely Laughton ahead of him.
