Looking forward to the final season, be interesting to see who the mother is and how they finish what I consider one of the best TV shows to premiere since 2000.

Maybe he means like...WHO she is. We know what she looks like. But we don't know too much about the character that hasn't already been said on previous seasons.

Overall, yes, the show has lost a bit of quality in the last couple seasons but it's still an entertaining show with quality moments (Marshall with the Skittles last year ) and plus the overall story has been a fun ride.

I will definitely be sad once it's all over.

She plays in bass in a band, she makes breakfast while she sings show tunes, and she paints pictures of robots playing sports.

That is what I gathered so far.

This. I'm excited for the last season but it's time for the show to end. I can't wait for the last season.

24 episodes covering a weekend. I do not have high hopes for this season. Seems like it's going to be filler episode after filler episode...

I was wondering what you were talking about then I looked it up.

I hope they can pull it off.

If it makes me cry at the end of the season, it will be a success.

What? No it won't....a sitcom can be emotional if it wants but to be really enjoyable, it needs to be funny and put a smile on your face. This show has failed to do that most of the time over the past two seasons with poor characters and repetitive jokes or unfunny bits.

If it's funny then I'll consider it a success but it wasn't even one of the top 10 sitcoms last season despite last year being a weak year for comedy (especially network comedy).

I also have low expectations. If they can pull off a decent last season like The Office did, I'll take it.

Let's do this. The beginning of the end.

Fun fact: Long Island Railroad trains look nothing like that.

Source: I ride them four or six times a week, pending work schedule.

Although, the train that passed the train Lilly was on in the background was accurate to the older trains.

A decent start I thought. A couple of LOL moments. Liked the line the airport guard gave about the banana.

The last season of The Office though not its best was very strong imo and probably top 3 out of all traditionaly type comedies last year. It had a couple poor episodes (the Dwight farm one especially) but they brought back one of the original writers I think and it was very consistent + funny. The season finale was perfect and the show never became overly sentimental while staying funny in that season until the last episode which they did very well.

This show can learn from Parks & Rec imo. That show does the perfect balance of plot development and comedy while being feel good or heartwarming at the same time.

Second episode wasn't as funny, but I have enjoyed the mother so far.

Second Episode..... I actually cared about the characters, it was like I went back in time about 3 years.

Hope this is a sign for a great final season.
