I heard him. He didn't say we don't deserve to make the playoffs. He said with the way we played tonight we don't deserve to make the playoffs. What's wrong with what he said? It's true.

That's exactly what I said...?

Nothing is wrong with what he said. He's 100% right. You could tell how upset he was.

I dont know why everybody act so surprised, we never won at BMO Field, but it was a terrible performance. Please Nesta stay one more year geez Lefevre is terrible
loan him to France next year, As for Wenger.......... ITs clearly his confidence the problem, next year he should be given his chance very early or else he will go down the same path and Di Vaio doesnt help at all, thank god we had Ferrari today. And For Arnaud miss, the angle was very tight.

I predicted that downfall months ago, you cant always be lucky

Just kidding but yeah who to blame? We know Saputo as short temper and the collapse will be blamed on someone...

Not only is it true, but it was about damn time that someone say something like that! Ferrari is being accountable, Schallibaum never is. All he says is stupid **** like "oh, the effort was there, we just weren't lucky". THANK YOU MATTEO!

Please fire Schallibaum. You can't let such a free fall happen.

Unless he gets in the playoff and somehow leads this team to the cup.

The only thing that saves Schalli at this point is at least getting us into the finals.

I don't think that's necessarily the best course of action, but Saputo probably isn't happy.

let's be frank, with Nesta, Di Vaio and Ferrari all being so old... that kind of meltdown at the end of the year was to be expected. That kind of run is terrible for their old legs

Yet they've been among the best players out there. Let's be real, it's not because those 3 players are old that we sucked in the 2nd half, I would say it wasn't even a factor. Real reasons lie partly on the coach and because of players like Arnaud, Romero, Nyassi and to some extent Felipe being on our starting 11. Even Bernier sucked in the 2nd half but he's been playing injured for a while.

Not a big fan of Shalli but it's not as if we have a lot of options in the midfield.

Barnadello is the only real player we have in the mid and he plays a holding position - close the the D's. We lack quality behind our forwards.

It is the MLS, our roster was fine, the problem is that the coach refused to rotate players and, in the end, everybody was out of gaz.

Sure, we need some improvement roster wise, but what we have was enough to easily qualify for the playoffs.

What I will never understand is why Schallibaum stopped rotating his squad after the loss in TO in the Canadian Championship. That's where the troubles started and he was never able to adjust, he kept throwing the same players out there, in different formations, instead of sticking to what worked. He looked for quick fixes instead of building a system and developing a FULL squad. Our young guys had flashes of brillance, but they got thrown to the wolves. They got placed in situations in which they had no chance of success. They should have been eased in, just likey they were at the start of the year.

If we make it to the knockouts as crazy as it sounds I wouldnt start MDV, focus on not allowing goals & keeping possesion for about 60 minutes, bring him in fresh and ready and change our mentality. But Schalli will never have the balls to do this.

MDV is 37 yo
cant play 90 minutes.

Ohh and I wouldn’t fired him but he should learn to better rotate his players specially when having an old squad, I knew by May we would have this problem at the end.

Why the hell wouldn't you start him? Makes no sense. He is tied for the MLS Golden Boot and you don't start him in the most important game of the season?

He CAN play 90 mins and he should.

I think the game we should be watching closely is Chicago vs NYRB.

Houston and NE should both have no problem winning their games IMO.

Not the best quality but, if you have cable, it's on NBC.

That's because Schalli's substitutions were flat out pathetic all season long. From letting Nesta play pass 80 min when we have a 2,3,4 goal lead to not giving minutes to the kids that deserved it ( SMITH!!!, Wenger, Tissot) the downfall is completely on him.
