Other than the title fight, I'm really excited for the interim title fight and the Nurmagomedov-Healy fights.

I think both will be very close. Wineland is tougher than people give him credit for. Not that he's going to win or anything, but he'll put up a good fight.

Yeah, I think the Nurmagomedov vs Healy fight is the most interesting on the card too. As far as the headline and co-headline go, anything can happen, but I don't expect any surprises in either fight.

By rear naked choke? That's not a wrestler's choke, that's a jiujitsu choke. If Jones wins by submission, I would put my money on it being a guillotine or some kind of head&arm triangle / gator roll type thing. Can't see Jones going Demian Maia on him.

He beat Rampage with a rear-naked so I don't think it would be that surprising. I don't see Gus posing any serious threat whatsoever, but we will see.

I agree. I think he ends it with a sub fairly early.

Jones threw the Gatorade bottle he drank from to the crowd. That's just nasty, man.

Rewatch that fight (I did on Thursday). Looks like Jones took him out with strikes / smothering him on the fence, and Rampage just sorta threw in the towel mentally, rolled over and gave it to him. Jones didn't work on the ground for it, it was just sorta there.

Yeah I remember that fight pretty well, I wouldn't really argue with that. Rampage was getting beat up pretty good and giving up your back at that point likely seems like a better option than taking more of Jones' GnP. That's why I wouldn't be shocked to see him win that way again. It's not a knock on Gus either, cause I think Rampage is tough as hell, but when you know you're losing badly, and you're faced with eating those elbows or whatever, I could understand anyone giving up their back at that point.

I haven't seen Bones for a while. Is his big toe pointing in the correct direction nowadays or what?
