Lundqvist does not look like himself. He's flopping all over the place which is unusual for him since he's all about his angles.

Go see the rebound Emery gives up on Ovies second goal. It's as if Emery was trying to pass it too him after the worlds slowest shot.

Regardless of the injuries their blueline suffered last season, the defensive end of that team is still full of question marks and gaping holes.

From one of the Flyers beat reporters:
Tim Panaccio ‏@tpanotchCSN 35m
Holmgren not happy and rather concerned about pre-season.

I really hope he does something reckless and stupid. I love watching Homer go full looney tunes.

At least Holmgren will admit this preseason has been disastrous for PHI. Flyer fans are saying that it's exactly the same problems they had last year, not just 'it's preseason who cares'. I'd honestly love to see them just stand pat and be terrible, though

3-1 Kings. Lundqvist has gotten shelled a few times this preseason. I hope that carries over, too.

Saw this on the flyers board earlier today.

Saw a stat earlier that since 2005, no team has made the playoffs after earning less than 25% of available points during pre-season.

Yeah I don't understand the Marty flopping from him. Last goal from Richards beat him clean. He looks a little off. He never struck me as a slow starter, but he's looking it now.

No surprise from Emery. He isn't as good as he was on the Blackhawks last year. I feel bad for the poor guy cause the Flyers will make him look even worse than he really is. Mason gave up a crap rebound to Bernier last night too. That tandem just looks really hideous.

I wish he knew how to sit that still.
Although, with so many teams over or flirting with the cap, I'm not sure he has too many options at hand.

Long road trip for a metro team and they just got in from Vancouver late last night.
Probably just sluggish from playing last night.

*Cough* Rangers *cough*.

It says they're 1-4-0. I thought they lost a game in OT, but that's what it says.

He looked bad last night too though.

The only team I think that's a lock for the playoffs in the Metro are Pittsburgh. I really don't think the Rangers are that much better than us. Lundqvist is a little better than Schneider, and our Marty is better than their Marty.

I'm not counting on it, but I can see them struggling. Callahan is out and that's a little less offense than what is already thin. Then they got the long road trip to start. Not counting on them struggling, but won't be surprised by it.

I feel that the Metro is going to be a **** show, free for all.
I think every team in it has reason to have some really high highs and really low lows.

I won't be comfortable with the way the standings look til at least after the Olympic break.

A good amount of Rangers regulars. Nash and Richards are in the game, and invisible like usual.

Rangers are icing crap on the blueline.

Richards & Nash still suck.

lol...yeah.

He's going to have to adjust from having to depend on those huge mattresses doing the work for him....TO him actually doing the work himself.

I have a feeling he won't be as "effective" as he has been in the past due to these new pad-reductions.....

He hasn't really been beaten 5 hole or down low much from what I've seen.

He's been getting beat pretty high. He's also been uncharacteristically flopping down, Marty style for some reason. He did it twice last night on the first two goals of the game.

I believe Maurice and DeBoer are pretty good friends, so it makes sense to me.

Trade Giroux! Waive Timonen! Send Couturier to the KHL!

This should be fun to see what he does.

Giroux to NJ for a 2015 First

if you want to know why that would happen, ask Gillis if they let his family go free the next morning after the draft

Why not hold out for Quick, too? He can be Marty and Cory's Waterboy.

I hate they have to steal other teams' color schemes from the area.

Not sure what is up with Lundqvist but he was completely Lolundqvist vs Van, gave up 5 goals in two periods and some of them were shockers.

Rangers as a whole looked tired and terrible though despite putting up lots of shots. Van played some mediocre hockey, outside of Luongo, and still won 5-0. Not sure what to make of the rangers: new coach, road trip, tired, etc.
