Micheal J Fox Show and Crazy Ones (Robbins Williams new show) premiered last night, with the star power they have in the leading role, they'll probably both start out with good ratings.

Helps that neither show was that bad.

Looks like Parks & Rec absolutely bombed last night, only notching a 1.3. To be fair, it was in the death slot against BBT, but nonetheless.

Michael J. Fox (2.1) was demolished by The Crazy Ones (4.0). It's not in immediate danger, as The Crazy Ones won't be a week-to-week challenger (instead it will be the dwindling 2.5 Men). However, the show *will* have to survive the new Sean Hayes show as a lead-in, which is getting horrible reviews.

Wow, lower then I thought for MJF. Would like to see what the ratings were for the 2nd episode.

Alright, my horse may have just dashed into the lead. A woeful 2.0 for the debut of We Are Men, the lowest-rated fall comedy debut in CBS history.

Some shows just look plain awful in the commercial, and We Are Men was one of those.

Hostages dropped to 1.5 last night, making it easily the lowest rated show on Monday for any of the four major networks:

CBS has been a disaster this year, Sleepy Hollow seems to be a nice success for Fox through three weeks.

CBS has only had 3 successful sitcoms for years and they all made a debut in 2002-2007....the network has literally done nothing new with comedy and those three shows have all declined.

SHIELD - 3.1 (-34%)
Goldbergs - 2.2 (-29%)
Trophy Wife - 1.4 (-39%)
Lucky 7 - 0.8 (-38%)
Dads - 1.3 (-13%)
9-9 - 1.4 (-22%)

Sucks that Brooklyn 9-9 is tanking, as that's really the only network comedy this year with potential.

How is The Goldbergs doing better than B99? The Goldbergs is just an unfunny family yelling at each other with Jeff Garlin occasionally saying something funny. The acting is so bad.

Its been sliding recently. Still does OK, but can't be trusted to hold down its own night or anything. Could be in trouble once HIMYM ends.

I always wonder that about CBS shows. I haven't watched Hostages yet, it's on my DVR but the only thing I watch on CBS is The Amazing Race. It's like old people only watch CBS and never change the channel. How is CSI still on after all these years? It got old years ago. All the "comedy's" are not funny. I'm just happy hockey is back so we have something to watch.

Midseason replacement. It'll probably replace whatever CBS comedy gets cancelled first.

I don't know if that's the case but the old people demographic is certainly screwing up the ratings imo. I'm also fairly sure that the way they distribute Nielsen boxes leads to a skewed demographic result. I don't think the avg person has a Nielsen box as they say but that's just speculation.

They will however start taking into account SOME online viewing activity in Nielsen ratings (only from certain sites) next year so that might help reduce the number of reality TV and low brow sitcoms and help out smarter shows.

Strong debut of Super Fun Night (3.2). Ironside bombed with only a 1.4, the lowest NBC Fall drama debut ever. Revolution has begun circling the drain (1.5).

I have not heard of any of these shows beside the Shield... and my girl is an avid TVer.

We started watching it between HIMYM and 2.5 men. It was decent enough, but I haven't seen anything since... they lost the shop.
