I don't think it was announced when the contract is renewed. If anyone knows though I'd be interested in hearing that info.

Heard is playing today. Seems like they are alternating Heard and Meurs as scratches.

It's 1-1 in the 3rd. Elliott scored.

Monsters win 2-1 in a shootout. Lerg, Barrie and Smith (winner) scored in the shootout for LE. Pickard stopped all shootout shots, Sami stopped all the attempts in their last one as well. Smith scored a goal in that abomination of a game on Friday which we do not need to speak of, but anyway he has 2 goals and the shootout winner here this weekend. I think he is the 2C and on the top PP (someone correct me if I'm wrong, I can only go by the radio). Pickard started all 3 games in the last 5 days and was pretty good here today, Rochester could have easily won this game. Fun fact that Kaleta scored the only goal for Rochester and our favorite McNab was playing in this game too. No update on Hishon, Sgarbossa or Sami, all three are injured.

Great dedication, TVixx. Keep up the good work.

Thanks guys

Millan was sent back to the Cutthroats today so that must mean Sami is better. Bet we seem him this weekend as LE has 3 games in 3 nights.

Just came to post this, was listening to Doug Plagens on the Light Rail on the way home from work and did a fist pump on the train when I heard Hishon's name

Seems like Hishon always gets a point in his first game back after missing some games with an injured.

I think he's pretty much gotten a point in every game he's played in this year. The game he left in the first I don't count.

It would be nice if he stayed healthy and got a good 60+ points this year.

Hishon is so damn skilled and so competitive as well. When people complain about the pick, it gets annoying because if he wasn't injured we would all be talking about how awesome of a pick it was. I'll be shocked if Hishon doesn't become a top 6 NHL player. I know this topic has been discussed many times before so I don't really know why I'm rambling on.

I'm amazed that he can sit out for however long and pick back up right where he left off. I really really hope he can put together a full season.

It really speaks to his skill. He hasn't had a single chance to shake the rust when playing for Lake Erie.

It's encouraging that Elliott seems to shoot a lot (39 shots in 13 games) this year. It his wrister and skating that'll take him to NHL, if he makes it.

Yeah good game for the Monsters after 2. Scored 4 goals in a span of 6 minutes. Heard 1G2A, Elliott 1G1A, Barrie 1A, Hishon 1A. One of the goals Heard won the faceoff straight back to Beaupre for a one timer bomb. Aittokallio is in goal. 4-2 so far. The highlights should be good for this one.

Millan starting tonight too. Maybe Denver can start winning again. Would have been nice to see him get a game with LE under his belt though.

Monsters win 5-3. One more assist for Elliott. They have been 4-1 (with a 3-2 loss) since Barrie has been sent down.
