We are seeing a lot more assertive Granlund tonight...faster too
Somebody must have realized he's not guaranteed a spot on the roster.

Losing 3-1 with a couple minutes left. Niederreiter scored a power play goal for the only Wild tally.

Several kids up front sure seemed to be fighting for a spot, which is great to see. Granlund knows that he can easily be sent to Iowa, so it's good that he stepped up. Nino had good opportunities. Good competition up front. The defense on the other hand.............meh.

Granlund, Coyle and Dumba seem to be the best players from what I read.

Thought I heard Reid or Kurtz say that Dumba wasn't having a very good night.

I'm more worried about Zucker's health than the loss to be honest.

Agreed. The loss on the scoreboard means nothing. The only loss that counts is Zucker.

Lack of visual preseason evidence is the worst.

Definitely got more kids up front trying to push their way through the door this year as opposed to last year.

Normally I'd be very concerned about Zucker but considering Heater has come into camp in good shape and the acquisition of Nino as well I'm actually not all that worried.
