Damn I would love Ben Bishop. Any idea on how long Kari will be out?

Think that ship has sailed. I was just posting that because I was advocating for him last year and the year before. Missed opportunity if you ask me.

Might be a nice time to get a good look at Jack Campbell.

Stars lines same at practice: Benn-Seguin-Peverley, Whitney-Eakin-Chiasson, Roussel-Horcoff-Cole, Garbutt-Fiddler-Nichushkin.
Quote:
D-pairs the same too: Goligoski-Gonchar, Dillon-Robidas, Daley-Jordie Benn. Expect Dan Ellis in goal vs. Colorado.
We gonna die.

I've subscribed to the sentiment Kari needs a really solid back-up for some time now.
If not for a bit of pressure, to fill in when things like this occur.

Yeah man. I can't imagine why ruff would be rolling with these same pairings. goli and gonch were one disaster after another last game. i know, i know, patience. but good god. a decent forecheck and they were just helpless against it.

we need a defenseman.

Is it so hard to give Connauton a game. Maybe he will, I don't know, not allow 2 breakaways per powerplay. One of goligoski or gonchar should be sitting in the crowd for their display last game.

Kari is still day to day right? I shouldn't drop him from my fantasy pool?

They placed him on IR. He'll be out the next two games.

Doesn't sound as bad as it could have been directly from Kari:

hahah definitely don't drop. He's on IR so you can pick someone up anyway but he'll be back shortly. Hoping for this weekend

Don't see Erik Cole on ice. Lines: Benn-Seguin-Peverley; Whitney-Eakin-Chiasson; Roussel-Horcoff-Nichushkin; MacDermid-Fiddler-Garbutt

Nothing new on defense: Goligoski-Gonchar; Dillon-Robidas; Daley-Benn
With B2B this weekend, I really hope Ruff puts in Connauton against Anaheim. No reason not to be using fresh legs at this point.

The only thing I can think of is that Connauton is close to being eligible for a conditioning assignment in Texas. Maybe they want to send him down after Rome comes up. Then they'll give him some NHL games.

The season started on the 4th so he should actually be eligible to go down as of today, but with Rome already down there they might be waiting.

The problem I see is that I think they probalby arent willing to scratch any of the mainstays on defense. Jordie Benn should be the guy who rotates but since he is outplaying everyone who do they scratch?

After Sunday, Stars' next game is on Thursday. Hopefully enough time for Kari to be ready.

Pretty damn easy decision if the coach has balls.

This makes me uncomfortable. Benn's arch-rival is calling for him to stay in the lineup.
