Can't remember the last time I saw an outfield ump getting hit by a fair ball.

Walker is definitely a lesser batter against lefties...but I still think they're "wasting" Marshall here. He hasn't pitched much this year, but he's an elite lefty out of the pen and McCutchen can hit lefties as good as anyone.

I thought Marshall would be saved for a Pedro situation.

edit: c'mon walk him...

To hell with that, a double! The Pittsburgh Kid is hot at the right time!
Yeah, I thought they bring Leake in since its in 4th now but hey, let Baker wastes his reliever.

The time to use Leake was the 3rd inning. He may come in at the bottom of the 5th, but you're not going to bring a starter in mid-inning.

The time to use Marshall wasn't the 4th.

I always love the unintentional walk to follow the intentional walk. Now Byrd is up and they have to switch pitchers because he destroys lefties despite Pedro being on deck.

Guys, did you notice scoreboard on Clemente wall? No scores, no lights at all. Definitely weird to see that.

Oh don't worry, he never will.

He'll also somehow still have a job in 30 years.
