TML!!! CBA image compilation.

Only a dissent of the popular opinion. I hope you treat it as such.
Dissent is a big part of civilization's growth to acceptence.

Anyways I share with you Image One

Created by moi of coarse

Let's share dissent photos of the reality of the new CBA. Keep it mild, thanks.

Two good ones. Supremacy is from TSN, and the other I just edited that in.

Edit: The second seems to not want to load.

I know some people have sided with the owners, actually since their poop doesn't stink I can understand why, however, I'll stick with the smelly crap players.

I find watching old billionaire owners kind of boring, but to each their own.

Go athletes.

Watching them may be boring, but it wouldn't be much of a league without them.

It might in fact be about payback and your team is ripe for the fruits of that reward ..

It would be funny if the UFA players purposely avoided the hardliner owners and Bettman's death squad of 8. Only going there as a last resort and only for the money when all other avenues are exhausted .

Once there adopt a more Yashin like care free friendly approach to the game, that it really isn't about winning but rather about the $$$ which they are so often accused of.

Where 75% of their former Salary = 75 % effort on the ice..... 50% former Salary = 50 % effort, and the NHL becomes a league of you get what you pay for ..

Bettman wishes are for Parity on the ice, so you do want your opponent after all to win from time to time so they can gain more fans .. Some teams already will receive revenue sharing $$ and players, its only fitting that teams now take it easy on them during the game to give them a better chance at winning and fulfilling Bettman's vision and dream for the new NHL. Owners will still make money under the system so a half dozen players coasting from time to time really shouldn't bother them that much ..

With guaranteed contracts and buyouts in the future counting against the Cap.

Go ahead **Buy me out ** could be their new motto .. I dare you ..

There are some bitter players out there don't put it past them to put in for early retirement, while still dressing for 80 games..

Payback can be a Bi-atch after all .. That is what the Owners were asking for going into the battle .. Maybe they will get more then they bargained for in return ..!!!!!

I still don't agree with these opinions. This lockout was intended to help out teams like the Flames and Oilers, who are in great markets that deserve hockey, but that don't have the kind of money they need to win.

Teams like Atlanta, Carolina and Nashville are screwed anyways.

I don't think of Edmonton or Calgary as non-traditional hockey markets nor do their owners have Hardliner reputations .. In fact Calgary's Harley Hotchkiss is/was brought in to get the talks moving as the voice of reason here .. Edmonton's owner only said 1 sentance the whole dispute in that he suggested "His team may need to suspend operations without cost certainty because of his market".

I am not sure they are on very many NHL players hit list ..

Everything I've read siggests that Hotchkiss was absolutely one of the hardliners.
