Yes, you're getting far better bang for your buck than $300 for Oilers tickets.

I think so.

1) all the Cheap upper bowl tickets sell out quick. Clearly a larger price is reasonable.

2) The Oil Kings are a fantastic product. They are in the WHL final for the third straight year, they play a strong physical brand of hockey similar to the Blues, they are rather good to their fans.

3) Its the playoffs...

Comparing Oil King prices to the Oilers isn't a reasonable comparison (there's no way I'm paying $300 to watch the Oilers anyway).

It is still junior hockey (I.e. Not professional), I'd be interested to see what other teams charge per ticket.

Managed to get a Pysyk bobble head. This makes me very happy. Now I just gotta win 50/50 to be a really happy panda bear.

That's the kind of first periods they need.

Portland almost seems tired.

Any idea what the attendance is tonight? Looks like a decent crowd on TV.

It'll be a while. They're nearing the end of their current contention cycle, I assume they'll go into a bit of a mini-rebuild for the next 1-2 years before reloading. So we're probably looking at 3-4 years down the line, at least.

Couple thoughts from the game:

1.) both teams look really really tired tonight.

2.) in game one the tv announcer said a comment that came true tonight. "Even though the oil kings are losing it's about sending a message" this was in regard to the oil kings still laying the body. Tonight I just watched lazar fake a hit on puliot and puliot completely turtled. I could tell the oil kings were going to win this one in the first 5 min because they were winning every puck battle.

3.). None of what I said may matter in game 5/6/7. Portland is still a great team and could find some energy. But neither team can win this on skill alone.

4.) with how tired both of these teams look, if that holds, it's going to be tough to win a game in the men cup lets alone the whole thing.

went to the game last night, and thought the Hawks looked like the much savvior team. But, it sounded like they Oilkings rattled them tonight. They have found their game again after completely losing it.

great win. they could pull this off. gotta win on in Portland, tho. that could be tough.

That's interesting, I thought the Oil Kings really had them reeling from the get go.

do you mean game 3 or 4? it sounded like the Kings had the better hand throughout the whole game tonight.

last night the Kings got dominated for the 1st, won the 2nd, and hung on for the 3rd.

They got the Winterhawks reeling. If there is any chance to jump on them, Friday's game is it.

The Cheater Hawks have some players flu ridden. It will be harder for us Friday. I'm hoping this is a seven-day flu.
