you could tell he was a little nervous last night, and he wasn't as comfortable sounding as Larry was, but he still did a great job. Plus he's only going to get more comfortable as time goes on. He hasn't had a lot of TV exposure from what I can tell. Other than that one really really badly acted commercial with Drapes.
Ozzie was a good fit.
He mumbles a bit and has hiccups in his speech. But he seems genuine, smart and fairly articulate.
Murph seemed forced and awkward. I'm sure he was smart. But it didn't shine through because of all that awkward.
Looking forward to seeing how he does, was not a fan of Murph. I feel like Mickey should be moving on soon, the game has changed and he doesn't seem to be happy with a lot of it anymore and when he is not happy, you the viewer are made aware of this with no room for uncertainty. Never really waremed up to Ken Daniels I like the straider redmond team from yesteryear pass sports. Don't get me wrong they do a passable job but could be better.
Ozzie did a great job yesterday. He is going to be really good at this and I think you have Mickey's long-term replacement in the offing here. He is kind of like a national guy right now, will need to work in a few more jokes and what not, but he is extremely solid at breaking down the game and very well spoken.
Honestly my thought are I hope we can keep him just on the local broadcast for a bunch of years and somebody National doesn't target him, I really think he is going to be that good at it here shortly.
Murph always stumbled over his own words and it drove me crazy. Nothing against the guy, he's a good person, but he just wasn't very media friendly. Ozzie seems concise and more relaxed. He was the same way in interviews as a player, so it's cool to see that carry over.
