Koko didn't impress in the home pre-season game-- he made poor decisions and couldn't pull the trigger on some really good opportunities. He was getting by based on his natural talents alone. I'm hoping his hockey IQ improves this season.

Cross's game was...uh, interesting might be the word? I thought Cunningham, Flick, and Warsofsky looked good.

With the additions of Fraser, Spooner and Johnson, how do folks see the lines stacking up in Providence?

-You've got Spooner and Camper returning as your 1 and 2 centers.
-Fraser is an AHL All-Start so he'll probably be you're top LW.
-Johnson looks like he should be in the NHL, and had 20 goals in 48 games the last time he was in the A for a prolonged stretch, so he's probably one of your top2 RW's.
-With Spooner and Camper likely locking down the 1 and 2c slots, would it make sense to move Koko (or Spooner) to move to LW?
-You've got a high-skill guy in Griffith on the right.
-You've got Jared Knight who could play on any line and on either wing- and still be effective.
-You've got Cunningham who's shown some versatility, scoring 20+ in Providence as a RW, but getting a lot of time in Boston's camp as a center.
-Camara, Florek, Fallstrom, Flick, Lindblad, Robins and Randell...

Koko-Spooner-Johnson
Fraser-Camper-Griffith
Camara-Cunningham-Knight
Florek-Flick/Fallstrom-Lindblad

Anybody else care to take a shot at the lines...

If I had to venture a guess...

Fraser - Spooner - Johnson
Cunningham - Camper - Lindblad
Camara - Koko - Knight
Florek - Flick - Robins

Haven't seen these guys play together, but from the other threads here on HF, my guess is the first line is gonna be:

Spooner-Spooner-Spooner

Not a fun bottom 6 to play against at all.

At this point, I would go with

Fraser-Spooner-Johnson
Lindblad-Camper-Cunningham
Camara-Koko-Knight
Florek-Fallstrom-Robins

*Griffith/Randell/Flick scratched
*Obviously, this breaks up the Spooner/Knight bromance, but Johnson deserves the top RW spot
*Camara played with Camper and Cunningham during the second pre-season game

Morrow-Trotman
Warsofsky-**Miller**
Moore-Cross

Casto/Spinell/Youds scratched

Svedberg
Subban

Looks good on paper, no doubt...

**Edited to add Miller to starting D, assuming he clears waivers**

When Griffith looks to be the 13 forward at this point it certainly looks good on paper.
Should be another solid year in Providence.
I am not sure I can ever remember the B's having this much organizational depth in all areas.

Just got a ticket for the P Bruins -Monarchs game (in Manchester) on the 19th. The wifes out of town so got a ticket in the 1st row behind the Bruins bench. I've never sat in that area for a game before so should be fun to see all the player interactions and stuff.

I may be ignorant on this because I have been preoccupied but I believe Spooner is not with the team unless he flew up late- Knight was on RW with Koko and Lindblad as of two days ago

if the Bruins aren't at home I'm likely to be at the game- that is usually where I sit- let me know where you are and I'd like to say hello

Is Subban going to be the backup? Would rather him be playing games somewhere... ECHL? OHL?

Hi Dan, I must have missed it but why is Spooner not with the team? Injured or attitude?

Held back to make sure Krejci was good to go last night.
He will be in the lineup as well as Kevin Millar tonight by all accounts.

@MarkDivver also reporting Griffith, Falstrom, Youds and Casto are scratched.

I'm a bit surprised that Fallstrom would be scratched sted Flick, but Cassidy may be looking for a little more toughness on the 4th line.

Randell-Flick-Robins sounds a little over the top.

Edit: Or is Robins still with the B's?

Edit no2: Yeah I should've just read the article. Robins is on IR with Boston.
So I guess the 4th line will be Florek-Flick-Randell tonight.
