Dang, Ducks held serve in the tanking battle.

No matter what the ducks tomorrow (lose dammit!) Wednesday's game is very meaningful.

Imagine if they could have at least gone to OT against Winnipeg.... Or have not blown the lead against Florida, Washington...

You think Todd or one of the leaders on this team would stand up in the dressing room and say "Do you guys want to play a mediocre Minnesota team or a LA team that has won 25 playoff games the last 2 years in round 1?" I would think that would motivate them.

I really question the leadership group with the way the Sharks have hilariously choked away the division the past few weeks.

Choked away the division? Anaheim is having just as much trouble. Theyre trying hard and gripping their sticks tight while the lesser teams are just loose. It isn't a lack of effort or not wanting it.

Canucks will try achieving moral victory instead of actual scoreboard victory.

Too bad the Nucks are out of the playoff picture at this point. Less motivation. Although they did beat the Kings the other night.

Also looks like the Ducks are playing a goalie in his first NHL game ever, so that could either be really good or really bad.

I think the sky has been falling since game 1. Either that or that nightmarish night where Dustin Brown ended up being Public Enemy #1

I still didn't think the hit looked that bad, but just really really unfortunate.

Doesn't matter they'll let in 8 goals then come back to win 9-8.

Woah Gibson is playing? I've been waiting for him to get his start forever. He's going to be a great goalie.

With Hiller struggling and Andersen hurt, I wouldn't be surprised if the Ducks start Gibson against the Sharks if he plays well tonight. He's supposed to be their future star goalie.

The Canucks are painful to watch. At least perennial non-playoff teams like the Oilers know how to still play in these meaningless games.

What even happened to the Canucks? I'm so confused. They look awful.

Well, there is one team playing more rotten than the Ducks right now... and it's the Canucks. Bleh.

This is Vancouver's revenge for getting swept by us. By losing to the Ducks and handing them the Division.

That team looks like they have quit on Torts. Painful to watch them.
