Need the PP to pay dividends. Rangers haven't had a decent one since Jagr. That's too long. Looking better isn't good enough.

Brassard could stop trying to make that perfect pass on PP.

Soft on the puck and release not quick or accurate.

Tampa is 4-0 in the preseason. The Cup is theirs. Why bother even playing a season.

Very much this. I especially like the significant improvement in zone entries/exits.

This has been a better period, and the 5 on 4 has had a little more shooting.

5 on 3 still has the decisiveness of an infant.

Marty sucks.

Boring game so far. Not much to talk about. Miller looks good. Allen just needs some experience and he's gonna be a good player.

Hiring Arniel was a huge mistake that will that will hurt the Rangers bigtime. He's another "keep trying to hammer the square peg into the round hole" type like Torts and he will keep putting out RHD like Grardi and big bodies in front like Boyle out there again and again and again. PP won't be over 15% this season.

I'm liking this game actually. Good transition. Solid second period with players doing well. Miller is really impressing in his first game. Certainly showing maturity gained from last year and his play has benefited from less bone headed plays. Kreider is using the body for board work which is what he'll have to do to contribute on shifts until he can get himself in spots to score goals. The 5 on three was bad but we didn't have finished on that line and we didn't have a proper point man on that line either. I don't blame that too badly. Bad shot by Brassard that lead to the goal against. Over all though, the quick outlets, passes, transition and moving of the puck in the offensive zone is promising.

Infants are very decisive. They know exactly when they want to cry, eat, sleep, and poop.

Fruit instead of doughnuts at the media refreshment table? Pfft, **** that, Sam.

Nothing will ever beat the table at MSG that a journalist once called "some kind of fish situation."

Yeah but give them a hockey puck and they'll probably chew on it, which is more than what we've been doing. At best they'll throw it, which counts as shooting it, again more than the PP can say.

So much of this... It seems like every year it gets more and more dramatic/dreadful on these boards..... If people are freaking out now I wonder what they must have been like the years when Lowe/Muckler/Trottier were coach...

Yeah, I don't know why this board decided to start dramatizing every single little play or goal against but it needs to end.
