I still don't regret the hate I had for Cooke's antics in the past. But I will give credit where credit is due. Dude is a major upgrade over Clutterbuck in more ways than one. Cluts was becoming very 1-dimensional. Cooke is the opposite. Works well in many situations. That Mitchell/Brodz/Cooke line looks tough to play against, but it also is a scoring threat.

Some guys booed Cooke when they credited him with the goal. Hope they stay home on opening night for intros. Not necessary.

It sucks that Mitchell will probably get squeazed out down to the fourth line. I like the Cooke-Brodziak-Mitchell line, but I guess it is a good problem to havenwhen your young guys are all playing well.
