It's too bad Chicago is icing an AHL line-up, would like to see Zatkoff against higher-quality players but you take what you can get.

Am here at the game.

I am expecting that the Pens will get to the their game tonight.

I also expect the nachos to disappoint.

Pressure on him must be tremendous. If he does well, he could make a big step forward in his career.

Zatkoff didn't get scored on on the first shot.

Used the reach to break up a pass up high and clear, then a clear, in one shift. Love it.

Why would he? In Russia, he killed on their Olympic teams. Therrien started using him and building his minutes. Dave King once said Rick Nash, as a killer, reminded him of Malkin.

EDIT: Despres looking really nice out there. Bennett looking a little jittery but it's very early.

One thing that will be significantly improved this year will be the Pen's forecheck.

No Morrow or Iginla sprinkled in the lineup and theres certainly more speed.

Even Glass has a little bit of speed in him. Adams is really the only slow guy.

I credit Martin for this. I have no evidence, but this screams Bylsma having his course corrected by an outsider.

Maybe Bylsma is just letting Martin coach the game.

Probably since It's been so long since I have seen him killing penalties haha

Also, Simon Despres has been looking good so far. About bennett, gotta say he's pretty good at picking pockets

Is it just me or does the puck seem extra bouncy tonight?

I had some Nacho's at the prospects game. They were the most disgusting I've ever had. So yes they can.

Letang constantly throwing pucks up the middle and it being turned over is driving me mad.

That was some nice awareness by Zatkoff.
He certainly finds the puck better than MAF.

Things starting to fall apart. A bunch of failed zone exits then Letang puts us back on the PK.
