A.K.A., every playoff game ever. Gabby, who I loved, is the epitome of regular season superstar who will never lead a team to the Stanley Cup. He might end up winning it as a mercenary, deadline acquisition sometime later in his career.

I'm amazed how well he did in his first playoff, almost a PPG in a lot of games. Also he had to be that team's only star player, so the attention was on him.

He's scored a couple pretty clutch playoff goals in his time here, lets be fair.

In other news, now that Nash has missed 10 games, will he be placed on LTIR retroactively?

I just saw Rick Nash, JT Miller and Derick Brassard at the elevator of my friends apartment building in the city. They were going to Girardi's apartment with the bottle of scotch.

At least he isn't holed up in his apartment with sunglasses on and closed blinds. Maybe we'll see him on the ice this season.

Drinking the night before a game? Sounds like a good idea.

Not sure if you guys are serious. Having a drink or two the night before a 7:30 start is not even remotely an issue.

If someone ran into them hammered at 3am at a club you'd have a case.

I've played some of my best games hungover. Also some of my worst.

I'm more curious what kind of scotch they went with. I'm a single-malt guy.

You're probably right but I'm paranoid about our players' health.

It has also been Rick Nash approved, it cured his groin concussion.

Doesn't girardi have a house? (didn't they show Girardi in a house with his wife and kids playing "hockey" when they were doing 24/7?)

The scotch was probably a house gift. Just so you don't go to someones place empty handed.
