5-1 Pens with another strong defensive effort.

Is Jordan really playing with Gerbe and Dwyer?

I got the line up from Carolina's beat writer, so yeah it looks like it.

Time to see what the Canes revamped defense really has got. Tonight will be a true test! I am stoked to see Sutter and Jokinen in action. My Fiance' is from Wexford so Pit is my 2nd favorite team! With that being said....

4-2 Canes!

Ah yes Gerbe...the guy who wasn't good enough for the Buffalo Sabres...

Still better than Skinner right now.

Skinner ha started the season really strong and is playing a solid-2 way game for once. Jordan is playing on a shut down line role with Gerbe and Dwyer. Skinner is on the 3rd line with Nash and Dvorak and they have been our most potent line so far.

Sweet GDT.

Why are so many of the headshots horrible? You'd think they would invest in a good photographer.

Got two free tickets for the game tonight in 104. Pretty pumped to go, especially for free... minus parking of course haha.

I'm not sure I'd want more Ice time if it meant playing with Gerbe and Dwyer

Ya, I'm sure he's second guessed his decision to dedicate the next decade of his life to a loser just so he could get out from Sid and Geno's shadow. Now he's playing with worse players, on a worse teams and is under his brother's shadow.

Well players are injured right now in Carolina. Including a top 6 power forward. So you have to make due with what you have. You know?

I wonder if the poor guy is at least getting some 1PP time. He was last year, but he looked like a train wreck out there.

I don't see the Carolina defense stacking up to our new counter-attack system, 4-2 Pens!

Anyone notice Geno switched his tape to black? I wonder why, he's been a white guy his whole career I think

They looked pretty brutal on the ice against the Flyers.

From what I recall, he was on the second unit with Skinner for most of last season, and he was meh. He's not and will never be a go-to guy on the PP. Could be good down low / in front if the rest of the PP is good though.

Were we watching the same game? Carolina looked good on Sunday. Mason kept it a close game, especially in the first. They looked good and Philly looked miserable... I'm not sure who was the cause and the effect.
