I know we are short on D, but that is no reason to throw $2.6m at a vastly over rated, injury prone player. I tell you how much i want Miller in Buffalo - I would rather we kept Biron and paid him that salary.
I hope Eklund lives up to his reputation on this one.

Miller's not worth it. At that price with his injury history no way. If he wasn't from Buffalo nobody would be mentioning him (ahem, Todd Marchant Syndrome).

When Miller was an UFA he was asked about signing with the Sabres and said he didn't want to have the pressure of playing in his home town. He may have been being diplomatic. It sounds better than "no way in hell do I want to sign with a team that can't make the playoffs let alone has a shot at the cup".
