I think that is cool. I graduated from Bradshaw up there before the arena was made. Wasnt a whole lot to do when I lived there and when Del Taco came along, having a place to grab something to eat at midnight was the highlight of my life.

Prescott Brewery was a cool place. I thought Flagstaff Brewery would be the same but I was totally wrong on that one (took a date there and felt dorky trying to sell it as a fancy place).

I know the Roadrunners didnt live long with an NHL team in town but in weeks like this, it would be nice to have a minor team here to kill time.

I'm surprised to hear about the SunDogs attendance seeing they actually won a championship before.

I am too to be honest. I'm from there, and there isn't that much to do up there. When I was in college, one of my roomates would actually go down to Prescott each weekend they were home because they had season tickets, and she would love going to the bars afterwards(Buffalo Wild Wings right next door) because the team would usually stop in and hang out with fans there and such.

I think it was just a fad thing when they were new to town, but they have also spent years in the cellar.

In the race for a #1 spot in the tourney, both Syracuse and Duke lost before they met up tonight. Duke just handed Syracuse another loss.

Looks like we have another soccer game taking place at UofP Stadium.

Real Madrid vs Inter Milan on July 26th.

Suns are currently in the 8th playoff spot, but 2 very winnable games upcoming against the Timberwolves and the Jazz. Should be able to climb back up the ranks a bit soon.

These tickets can cost a buck or two, but if you've never seen big time European soccer, this is a great chance. The European club championship has been awarded 58 times, and these two teams have won 12 of the 58 (and Real has a decent chance of winning the 59th). Two incredibly prestigious European teams ... Real and Barcelona dominate "La Liga" in Spain ... Inter, AC Milan and Juventus are the three-headed monster of the Italian "Serie A."

One caveat before you throw down your money: the World Cup final is 13 July, and I count about 15 guys on the two teams who will be playing in the World Cup. It's one thing to rush back from Sochi to play in regular season games, it's something else entirely to rush back from a month-long tournament to play in random American exhibitions. Could be a ton of healthy scratches for this one.

Thanks for the heads up on that one. Especially if I can't see Cristiano Ronaldo as well.

Agreed and I'd rather have UA vs ASU playing at with US Airways or Jobing.com Arena instead from time to time.

The NFL Combine is underway and we're about 12 days away from the start of the NFL Free Agency as well. Any news yet from the combine as it related to the Cardinals or any potential free agents they may sign?

Curious as well. Is there an HF of the NFL?

Watching the Az game against Cal. Fell out of my seat, they just called 2 technicals on Cal. Thought the Pac threw that call out this year.

Suns lose to the Jazz(Dragic was out). If they miss the playoffs I'm gonna be pissed. Either tank and lose with style, or make the playoffs. I'm tired of this mediocre crap.

ASU beats Stanford, big game against Cal on Saturday. Sitting in 3rd in the conference right now, could pull ahead of Cal in the standings on Saturday with a win, and would help their chances at a NCAA tournament bid.

Is it a split squad game? Stuck at work, should have known that WGN would be showing games. They always show cubs games. I wish FSN would show spring training games more often, it's a shame they don't since they are all during the day. Don't they show replays of teams from not in Arizona during the day?

I'm not watching, just recording. But yeah it's split squad. There is another game with the Dodgers, that one will be on MLB network at like midnight.
