I have this feeling that Geno only knows how to speak in Dan Bylsma slogans on game day.

"I just have to forecheck, backcheck and work hard every shift and we will play good."

I am a Sabres fan. Please excuse in advance our lineup. I know you paid a lot of money to see 2 nhl teams not one but sometimes that is what happens. Don't be cruel. We will be back in a couple years.....

I'm only hoping for another solid defensive outing. Let's make this a habit.

That frustrating feeling when all you see if "The game will begin soon". Like Xmas Eve.. but longer.

Well perhaps it's a cultural thing. Aren't Russians more naturally inclined to pick up on and parrot mindless propaganda?

Scuds makes Nisky look good out there. That is how good Scuds is defensively.

My first game this year, and it really is strange to see Malkin with his jersey not tucked in.

Yes. Pumping Nisky's trade value.

Question: If you put Sid and Geno out together for an offensive zone draw, why run a set play that has the puck going to Orpik?

Fleury squaring up nicely. Bort is also playing tremendous hockey.

Early in the season, though.
