Watching Buffalo's defensive work, the only thing that I can conclude is that their staff employed Bylsma as a guest consultant last summer.

After years of begging this team is finally collapsing around the net and stopped chasing people.

Thank you!

he fumbled the initial pass. made a good 2nd effort though.

Much to the chagrin of the kool-aid society, I made that point in the trade thread and cited it as the reason Sid runs into trouble when he goes up against a tough defensive team in the playoffs. Twas always thus, and always thus will be. But, the regular season will be enjoyable.

that's pretty much what he does. if it was only one of Sid's wings I don't think we'd ***** nearly as much about it.

anyone paying attention can see it. if you're just watching and see them score and don't look any closer, than yeah, it's a great line.

Bennett - Crosby - Dupuis
Kunitz - Geno - Jussi

Do it.

Maatta is damn good. Not fully NHL ready but you can just see the talent we are blessed with.

Does Maatta get that between two forwards an arm's length apart and on net? Take notes Niskanen/Letang

they are a great line against most teams in the league because most teams in the league can't shut down Sid. That percentage gets much worse in the playoffs though.

Bennett is our best wing. There, I said it.

I don't think anyone thinks that, but I do think Jokinen plays a style that matches Malkin and Neal very well. Beau is capable of playing any style but that spot in the lineup doesn't cater to his strengths.

As has been said a million times, he belongs on Sid's wing. It's just matter of how long it takes for Bylsma to see he's better than Dupuis.

I'm amazed how he has managed to play exactly the same no matter where it's been. He plays in the NHL exactly the same way he played in Finland. His game never seems to need adjustment.

Oh how little you know. If he's our best wing, then why wasn't he playing in the top six to start the season? Do you really think this coaching staff wouldn't play its best players simply because they're young?
