Fantasy Booking WM30.

I started this post in the "Rock/2015" thread, but as I wrote, I thought it would be good to have a booking WM30 thread on it's own. This is more of a fantasy booking for WM30, but hopefully some of it can happen. I used the rumoured names of Batista, Austin and Sting in mine, even if they're far fetched.

I listed these in order from Pre-Show match on, with 4-5 main event calibre matches, the hardest part was match sequence.

Pre-Show Battle Royal- Winner gets an IC Title Shot. <20 MIN>
Sami Zeyn, Del Rio, Cody Rhodes, Langston, Axel, Fandango, Ryback, Kingston, Swagger add who ever else you want here, but Zeyn wins and gets Cesaro for the IC belt.
Winner: Sami Zeyn
-----------------------------------------------------------------

4 Team TLC Match - Tag Team Belts <25 MIN>
Christian/RVD vs. The Usos vs. The Matadores vs. Prime Time Players
A good way to get a chunk of the roster on to the PPV and bring some legitimacy back to the Tag division. You could really add anyone here, I was tempted to put Kidd/Gabrielle instead of PTP, but either way they're all interchangeable.
Winner: The Usos

Ziggler vs. Sandow (C) - Heavyweight Title <20 MIN>
I'd love this feud both in the ring and on the mic.
Winner: Ziggler

Kane vs. Bray Wyatt - Hell in a Cell <15 MIN>
After 5-6 months of being brain washed, Kane finally ditches the buzzards and challenges Wyatt. Let's just hope this match is better than the Ring of Fire match.
Winner: Bray Wyatt

Cesaro (C) vs. Battle Royal Winner (Sami Zeyn) - IC Title Match <20 MIN>
Watching there matches on NXT, I selfishly want this to happen.
Winner: Zeyn

Lesnar vs. Batista - Battle of The Big Men <25 MIN>
Rumors a while back where Batista was talking about coming back on a Rock type deal. Not sure how having two part timers would work storyline wise, but marketing this match would be simple enough. I'd assume WWE would rather have them in separate matches, but wasting three PPV's on Lesnar/HHH tells me they don't mind putting Brock in dead end feuds.
Winner: Lesnar

Team HHH vs. Team Vince McMahon (Winner gets full control of WWE) <30 MIN>
Team HHH = HHH, The Shield and Randy Orton.
Team Vince = Big Show, Mark Henry, Sheamus, The Miz and Stone Cold Steve Austin.
*Special Guest Referee = Stephanie McMahon.
This would be a fun match with lots of ways to finish. Austin can screw Vince, Stephanie can screw either side, one of the faces could turn etc etc.
Winner: Team HHH

Token Divas Match aka bathroom break <10 MIN>
Winner: Meh

Taker vs. Sting <25 MIN>
Not sure what Sting's TNA status is, but with them trimming pay role, I think the possibility is there; Probably won't happen, but like I said this is more of a fantasy booking, and this alone could sell the PPV.
Winner: Undertaker

Punk vs. J. Cena vs. D. Bryan (C)- WWE Title Match <50 MIN>
MOTY candidate before it even starts. Punk wins the Rumble, Cena comes back from his injury and says he is still technically owed a re-match for his belt and wants to cash it in on the grandest stage of them all.
Winner: D. Bryan

No offense but that sounds like a disaster waiting to happen

Sandow is certainly not ready for a 1v1 world title match at mania IMO

stone cold comes back to team with 4 bums (more or less) in a survivor series match?

Lesnar is wasted on batista?

WWE would also never let a hell in a cell happen between kane and an unproven rookie (yes husky harris is still a rookie) much less at WM.

Absolutely no reason to leave jericho off the card, He does nothing but help the company.

I'll take a shot at it.

Lesnar vs Undertaker
Punk vs Stone Cold
Goldberg vs Ryback
Bryan vs Orton vs Cena (WWE Title)
Ziggler vs Rhodes vs Jericho vs Sandow (World Title)
Christian vs Ambrose (US Title)
Mysterio vs Del Rio (some sort of gimmick match)
The Shield vs The Wyatts
RVD vs Kane (at this point kane is heel)

They can take the Mcmahon angle a million different ways so i rather not try to make a match for that.
Miz will probably be involved in some sort of gimmick celebrity match that they have every year without fail. Of course theres no way of telling which celeb.

I think Sandow is more than ready, there are still 4-5 higher profile matches on the card so it's not as if this is closing the show.

Stone Cold in a high profile match with the company on the line. It allows WWE to advertise him and include him in the storyline, but he won't have to wrestle a whole match on his own, with his knees and conditioning, a match like this where he only needs to be in the ring for 4-5 minutes is a good stepping stone to set up for his own match at WM31.

I'm fine scrapping Lesnar/Batista, but Lesnar is running out of legit dance partners and I'd rather see Sting vs Undertaker than Brock vs Undertaker. As much hype as Brock gets, he's already lost twice in five matches and even in the matches he won has looked totally human. Atleast with Sting, the novelty and mystique is there.

Sandow is more than willing to take over. It's not like Del Rio brings anything to the table that keeps WWE fans around.

I don't think the OP has a bad card at all. In fact, it's damn good. I would tweak a few things and i'll post them soon. It's also a big over-booked. TLC, HIAC, etc. Too many gimmick matches.

The one big thing - give gimmick matches to the undercard so they can put on a show. It works every time.

30th anniversary of Wrestlemania for WWE, this is the card I'd put together to make the most money, so it may not be a smarks favourite show, but they'll ***** on the Internet and then still watch/enjoy it...

No Holds Barred
Brock Lesnar (w/Paul Heyman) vs. The Undertaker

Battle for Control of the WWE
Triple H (w/Stephanie McMahon) vs. John Cena (w/Vince McMahon)

WWE Championship with Stone Cold Steve Austin as Special Enforcer
Daniel Bryan (c) vs. CM Punk

The Great One vs. The Viper
The Rock vs. Randy Orton

Clash of the Titans
Goldberg vs. Ryback

World Heavyweight Championship
Dolph Ziggler (c) vs. Alberto Del Rio vs. Chris Jericho vs. Rob Van Dam

Intercontinental Championship
Curtis Axel (c) vs. Fandango vs. The Miz

Divas Championship
AJ Lee (c) vs. Lita

6 Man Tornado Tag Team Match
The Shield vs. The Wyatt Family

Four Corners Tag Team Match; WWE Tag Team Championships
Mark Henry & Big Show (c) vs. The Prime Time Players vs. The Usos vs. The Real Americans

Money in the Bank Ladder Match (Damien Sandow's contract)
Damien Sandow (H) vs. Kane vs. Wade Barrett vs. Big E Langston vs. Kofi Kingston vs. Cody Rhodes vs. Sheamus vs. Christian

You get the key players on the show and you can have some real interesting storylines heading into the show, especially on the top of the card. Even the undercard would have good build up though.

Actually it's quite the opposite regarding Austin's knees. He's said multiple times he's in the best shape of his life excluding the neck. Its not the match itself more so having an awful mid-carder team to the point where it looks like it really is 5on1.

As far as batista goes i don't really see what can even be done there. Guy has no charisma as is. He had a shred of it when he was heel before quitting but he would have to be the face in this situation and it seems like it would be a muscles match rather than wrestling spots like you would have with a punk or a bryan etc

I'm sure the entire roster is more than willing to get in the WHC picture

I just don't think thats sandow's scene..at least not just yet.

Don't think Vince would pick cena though. After parading how he didn't want him as champ, either.

Wouldn't vince logically go back to bryan?

Logically, anything is possible because Vince could say he was lying the whole time. lol

The rumor mill has a conquering hero siding with Vince on this. I think The Rock makes the most sense on this but it could be him or Austin or Taker or Cena.

Personally, I'm all for any storyline that ends with Cena turning heel. That could be in this match or it could be in a title match with Daniel Bryan. But if he's not going to go through with it, which is 99% likely, I'd rather it be someone else. My preference is to have Brock-Rock, Cena-Taker, Punk-Bryan, and HHH-Austin as the card for WM30.

It's too much for a four hour show and there are too many gimmick matches, IMO.

He could just say that although he doesn't want Cena as champ, he's a 13 time champion for a reason and there's no one else better to choose against HHH.

Another one, similar to what I had before. Matches would be short because of a packed card, especially in the main event slots.

Anything Goes
Brock Lesnar (w/Paul Heyman) vs. The Undertaker

WWE Championship; Stone Cold Steve Austin as Special Guest Enforcer
Daniel Bryan (c) vs. CM Punk

Battle for Control of the WWE
John Cena (w/Vince McMahon) vs. Triple H (w/Stephanie McMahon)

Randy Orton vs. Chris Jericho

World Heavyweight Championship
Dolph Ziggler (c) vs. Wade Barrett vs. Sheamus vs. Rob Van Dam

Four Corners Tag Team Match; WWE Tag Team Championships
Prime Time Players (c) vs. The Usos vs. The Real Americans vs. Big Show & Mark Henry

6 Man Tag Team Match
The Shield vs. The Wyatt Family

Intercontinental Championship
Fandango (c) vs. Christian

Lumberjill Match; Divas Championship
AJ Lee (c) vs. Natalya

Money in the Bank Ladder Match
Kane vs. Curtis Axel vs. Kofi Kingston vs. Cody Rhodes vs. Rey Mysterio vs. Damien Sandow vs. Alberto Del Rio vs. The Miz vs. Ryback vs. Pre-Show Battle Royal Winner

Kickoff Match; Battle Royal for the final spot in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match
Sin Cara vs. Big E Langston vs. Brodus Clay vs. Drew McIntyre vs. Heath Slater vs. Jinder Mahal vs. Evan Bourne vs. The Great Khali vs. Justin Gabriel vs. JTG vs. R-Truth vs. Santino Marella vs. Sweet T vs. Tyson Kidd vs. Yoshi Tatsu vs. Zack Ryder
