Bob Hartley has the best odds of being the next coach to leave their team. 2/1 odds that he will be fired...
Just wondering what everyone opinion is. In my opinion unless Hartley really badly screws things up, he has got the head coach job for at least another year. Especially, since we have had a solid start to the season.
Plus, I can think of other coaches who are far more likely to be fired.
Not really sure why people think this? Even if we have a bad season, we've already came out and said we're in a rebuild, no way he gets fired this year, especially switch with how hard he has this team playing
This is the most ridiculously-timed thread ever. Experts pick the Flames to be the worst team in the NHL. 4 games in, they haven't lost in regulation and are tied for first in the division. FIRE THE COACH!
I love Hartely and have no complaints other than the recent developments of Ben Street, Ramo, and Colbourne. But those a minuscule complaints when looking at Hartely's overall performance and how he's rejuvinated Backlund, Stajan, Bouwmeester and pretty much everyone else.
The Flames haven't lost in regulation? Let's fire the coach. Child please! I have a feeling that if Feaster is gone so will Hartley. Bob is Feaster's guy.
EDIT: I have to add this: That was the stupidest article I've ever read. Randy Sportak should be fired for his idiocy.
It was a dumb article but he wasn't the one speculating whether and why Hartley would be fired, but rather reporting some random betting site's odds on the matter.
It's a rather useless article, but he's not actually bashing Hartley or the team. Just some random news filler on a slow in the sports section.
If I were you though, I'd check out that bodog website it mentions - I think Calgary fans could make some quick money. I would put good money on Minnesota firing Mike Yeo next. The ownership spent a lot of money in the last two seasons and Yeo's systems are pissing it all away.
